Michael Jordan was poisoned too…that’s what led to the ‘flu game’. He ordered pizza from a local place in Utah when the Jazz were playing the Bulls in the 1997 NBA Finals. The guys at the pizza parlor in Utah probably wanted the Jazz to win the next game. Elite basketball players should get a commoner they trust to order their food for them or cook their own food.

His death stands out quite a bit in my mind because it seemed that not only was the public (myself included) saddened by his death, people were also PISSED. His death was a catalyst for what would become tougher drug laws. His death was sited by lawmakers when advocating for the War On Drugs. People had a sense that we all were robbed of the opportunity to see possibly one of the greatest NBA players of all time, right up there with Jordan and James. I'm not convinced that lawmakers were totally genuine when referencing his death, to co-opt it in arguing for harsher prison sentences. In retrospect, it seemed to be a knee-jerk reaction. Just like so many similar statutes in the wake of tragedy. One thing I know for sure is that Bias was a phenom on the court, but his talent went to waste because of poor decisions he wasn't aware would cost him so much.

@black sun Jay died over nothing. Some jealous ass nigga MISUNDERSTOOD and thought that Jay was flirting with his Estranged Young Wife at the Jewelry Store in the Mall, when all that was happening was that Jay was just a customer casually talking to her. It wouldn't have matter IF she had been putting the moves on Jay, since she had broken up with her EXs Jealous ass already. Jay told him that it was just a misunderstanding, and that he was just there to get a Ring customized for his friend. "Look Man, I don't want no trouble. I ain't flirting or anything like that. I was just chatting casually with her and I didn't know she was your girl." The Asshole, Jerry Tyler begin antagonizing Jay, who brushed it off and instead got in his Car with his Coworkers. Tyler then had a friend of his drive up in a Mercedes and ambush Bias by shooting him several times with a PPK Handgun. Tyler fired the Gun.

Jordan still will have been Jordan. He wouldn’t have 5 mvps or 6 nba titles. Boston and Bias would have been his rival. Bird and Mchale careers would have been longer. Jordan still would have figured out how to beat them a couple times. Celtic and bulls would have battled the whole 90s for the eastern conference. Jordan and Bias would have been magic and bird in the 90s. I say Jordan get 3 mvp and 3 titles. Bias get about 3 mvp and 4 or 5 titles because Boston had the big 3 early in his career.

Weed actually isn't much of a gateway drug. That's straight propaganda when ya look at the stats. Surprisingly, alcohol and cigarettes are most people's gateways. But back in the 70's and 80's all kinds of people went from nothing to coke/rock. That wasn't uncommon at all. Still isn't. I've seen hard working moms who didn't even so much as sip wine or anything like that be selling off everything she owns for a rock within a month of that first hit. And I've also known yuppie couples so snort H on the weekends and have it completely under control. The stereotypes are just that, not necessarily real at all and never the only way things go.
