@@cualquieradisponible I am an ESL speaker that learned a lot of slangs from British television and movies when I was a student. Even until I grew up, got old, and heard this song, I did not know that they use the word in the US. I did not understand what it meant by the part of the song and asked my American friend about it

Yes, you're right. I think this happens in all languages. I speak Spanish and to be honest, in some cases I find it difficult to make out what some singers say, for example Shakira, let alone when it comes to interact with people with different dialects.
