Oceaniz talking about the Lagombi’s weakness to Tigrex roars and here I am thinking “Silver Slider? More like silver platter hehehe”
@saltgodsdaughter
6 ай бұрын
Most people misunderstood why it's named the Silver Slider. The nickname actually has nothing to do with the Lagombi's penchant for sledding. It's called the Silver Slider because the Tigrex makes a quick snack of it, as if going to White Castle.

i remember hearing that Goss Harag, due to using tools, might actually be 1 of the smartest Fanged Beasts out there also the casual singing from Somnicanth is most likely communication with other Sominicanths, think of it like how birds sing to communicate, getting a good grasp on others locations and what gender the other singer is

Anyone else notice that a lot of the Monsters in this region focus on sounds? From the singing of Somnacanths, the roars of the Tigrex, and the sensitivity to noise from Labogami. Maybe it's got to do with the.... General quiet of cold regions and snow. Good watch btw. And I will say Goss Harag is probably the scariest of the Monsters.

Goss harag is a fuckin UNIT. I first encountered this fucking top G hunting a zhezu and he tried to haymaker me a couple times. I thought 'this guy is fuckin clenching his fist, dang he serious' and me and my buddy decided to hunt him next. Fast forward to next hunt. This haymaker throwing top G got enraged, and imagine my surprise when he glided through the air, ground and pound shockwaved at us, then started firing off mouth beams before growing a sword on his arm and fighting us in martial combat. Halfway through the hunt my buddy asked 'what could he have that's cooler than an ice sword?' And then Goss harag revealed to us he specs in dual wielding and drew his second blade. 10/10. One of the coolest monsters in the game for sure

The fact that Khezu whelps can be found in the shed skin of a Kushala Daora could imply that some stronger, or just bolder members of the species will attempt to use the elder dragon as an incubator, though it's likely that the cave wyvern will die in the process due to a difference in strength. One theory when it comes to Goss Harag on the other hand, it's species bore witness to how humans fought in the times before and during the great dragon war, and realized 'yeah, that actually might be effective for hunting' hence why they form blades and other things on their arms. A taught process rather than instinctive.

Theory on the monsters getting more aggressive is possibly caused by the death of the mountain dragon. No doubt it's an elder and when they die they release massive amounts of bioenergy into the area and it's very possible those monsters were coming there to not only feast on the dead elder but also absorb the bioenergy potentially becoming tempered which makes monsters stronger and more aggressive.

Grounding is actually what causes you to get shocked from electricity, if you're not grounded you can touch electrical wires and not be shocked. Voltage is the difference in potential, ground being 0. Perhaps grounding himself causes the electricity to flow?

16:47 imagine a khazu welp that has to deal with being in a Deviljho.... Who would die first? What happens with a welp if it outlives the Jho? Does it become a subspecies that has been mutated by the dragon energy? Or maybe the welp was a subspecies of khazu to begin with... Ones that actually target monsters like the Jho, ones with a psychotic appetite... So that the young spawned from those beasts are infused with dragon energy? :) Idk, I just been thinking about new ideas for a khazu subspecies. The only other idea I got is a jungle/Forest dwelling khazu that has taken its stretchiness to a new level, attaching it tail to the ground, walking back a distance, to then have it's tail fling itself forward, using this to abush pray. I call it the spotted khazu, it also uses poison instead of electricity to take down targets
