I slowed down the video to check those green flashes as I thought the vid was pulling some subliminal message tricks on me 😂 False alarm

Same here. I thought she was gonna be like "you may have noticed green flashes throughout the video" cause it was part of a demonstration or something. I guessing it's a camera or editing issue; some kind of glitch.

I found this video incredibly interesting, particularly the examples and explanation between the difference of fluent and expressive aphasia. Great video as always - and already looking forward to the next one :)

I found your video quite interesting, I speak three languages, spanish, english and italian. I always have had problems to express myself even when I only speak spanish (mother tongue); for instance by not remembering the name of an object I see... However, now when with a bilinguial person, or trilingual, as my boyfriend, I can easily jump from one languaje to another, but when I speak with a monolingual person... the things get a bit more difficult...

since i´m kind of fluent in english its very hard to talk just in my native language german.... but just talking in english is even harder cause i simply not know as much vocabulary like in german... ;D when i´m lazy and put everything just in german in google translator i almost always switch unconscious to english lol... started to lern russian some time ago, will continue when i´m in the mood again, think russian is relly intresting cause its kind of totally different build up than english or german or any other language fragments i know of... but i think.... the russian way of language is more descriptive and (yeah more complex but) i thin when u get it once into your mind it could change the way how you can think... think everyone should raise up kids with at least two languages....

Considering that language is processed in the temporal lobes, how can “words have power (emotional)” be justified since emotions are located near the brainstem? Language processing and emotional response occurring in two vastly different areas of the brain would strongly suggest that emotional response to words is learned on top of the words that are learned. Emotions are inherent. However, responding emotionally to words is not inherent. Why are we teaching children that words hurt when it is a scientifically false premise?

@@sev4938 😂 Yeah. That’s typically what irrationally emotional people say to a rational explanation about irrationally emotional people. 😂

@@foreverlearning6743 When you teach children that “words have power,” then you enslave them to the words that other people use. Your eMOTIons MOTIvate you to action. If somebody can use words to access your eMOTIons, they can MOTIvate you to do irrational things. When you have a whole society that can be MOTIvated via spoken words, you end up with things like the Holocaust. Kids that learn “words have power” grow into adults easily controlled by the words of others. It’s not only dangerous to the child’s psyche, but it’s dangerous to society as a whole when those children become adults with the power to vote away their rights and responsibilities.

Very observant! We made the conscious decision to put it on the left and right of the viewer. It just makes things easier. So in the case of the animation, the person is facing away from the camera.
