It's such a bizarre moment, because obviously everyone in the room knows the only response to that "no" which makes any sense is "we were only asking to be polite, obviously we can't accept a modified deal without the CFO, that's offer's outside of what we have approval for" BUT everyone also knows the on-screen deal is fake and they're just playing with Monopoly money for now, so they accept it because that's a more memorable ending and better TV. But then what's the CFO for, within the fiction of the show?

I’m just predicting and hoping for those last two to happen, it would be such a great ending to that character arc honestly. Which could lead into jadas character arc, pre alopecia, into pre serial cheating, into cheating with her 22 year old sons friend to help him “heal”, which made her feel soo GOOOOD, to help “heal him”, to post cheating, into pre alopecia, into post alopecia, into “the slap”, into post “the slap”, into India, into divorce, into lawsuit, into her own “healing” with 80% of Hollywood and anyone else she wants to “heal with”. while women are expected to use beauty services and products, meaning companies can easily overcharge them. financial status matters more to men identity wise, if you can market your pedicures as classy gentlemen stuff, as with expensive suits and designer perfume, i'm sure you could mark it up too. or if you really cater to like the hipster community, maybe that was a profitable trend to pounce on in like 2014? point being: while beauty products market for men isn't inherently and fundamentally rigged the way it is for women, there are other gendered aspects a business could exploit for male beauty products too. while the acceptance for more varied gender expression has been growing and i expect it will continue to grow, expanding the domain of "acceptable" male beauty products to include pedicures through marketing and setting new trends, would probably accelerate the profitability of such services. dunno why i typed this, just thought it was interesting topic ig.

honestly, massage is also seen as kind of a thing women usually do, but men do it a lot as well if not more than women. It's just that when there's an ad for massage it's always a woman being massaged. But men do see benefit so they go to. Now the reason men WILL get somewhat laughed at for doing pedicure, is only because men see it as something useless. We make fun of how useless it is and for somebody spending time and money to it. Not for it being girly. The only reason men would say "its girly" is because girls do like spending time and much money on ... beauty, while men do not. That's where "sexism" comes, it's not sexism, it's just facts of how men vs women behave.

Daymond is the worst shark 100%. He demands insane deals, barely adds any input, and only works in a niche market. If it's a clothing-related business he's potentially the best choice... but for anything else... what value does he really bring over any other shark? Laurie has QVC so if you have some stupid product that can be mass-produced cheaply she's a great option. Mark Cuban has a lot of resources... entire teams and departments he can put at your disposal if needed. I hate Barbara as a negotiator but according to what I hear she does very well with her partners. From what I hear she has the best feedback and results overall. Which is shocking to me. She seems like a geriatric harpy. Robert is hit or miss but ideally I'd probably want Robert + Laurie.
