Hi Rob. January and Febuary are the coldest months of the year. Its good to see wild animals around. The horses are friendly with some precautions they could become dangerous. There are signs of spring too. Thanks for taking us along Rob

It's great to see the New Forest, what's inside and around it. Rain is good for the land, trees, plants and wildlife, but too much rain can also cause damage. Beautiful nature adventure!

Hi Rob it did look chilly there and nice to see this update in the forest, we really need to visit one day. Shame about the storm damage, the cyclists would had to be careful in the floods. Loved the pony nibbling away at the upper branches of the tree 😃 Nice to hear Sally share what being a commoner is, I've not heard of this before and how commoners own the ponies in the New Forest. Tyndall was great Rob, will look forward to hearing more from Sally in the future 👍~ Anna

Your trails look so much like ours,,, been a very wet autumn and winter!! Always so sad to see trees that came down but is good they go back to the earth and animals feed off of them!! That as cool to see how they ate the bark and upper branches that they would not have been able too!! Oh how fun to see the Pony's!! Magnificent and great news about the Eagles!! YAY!!

I never like to wish my life away but I never like January or February, too many storms, to much rain and too much gloom. I have heard of those ponies owned by commoners and Sally gave a good explanation and also a good warning if you get too close too. We had snow for about 4 days but as soon as it came it was gone, it never lingers now like it used to when I was a kid. Never expected to see a seal or an eagle down there but good to hear they are trying to reintroduced them now. Nice to see an otter out in the wild, something I have tried and failed to do before. Real nice the spring is on the way but I could do without the snakes, cheers Alan

Thanks very much Alan. Yes, Spring is nearly here. I don't like Jan and Feb either, it's either too wet or too cold or both. As you say though, mustn't wish our lives away. Just need for time to slow down a bit now for the next few months:) Tx for watching, as always. Best wishes, Rob
