Hey Teddy, I just want to thank you for the content you make. My father recently passed away, and he was always into watches. Now that he has passed, I have begun to look into this crazy world of watches and your videos have really helped me understand and appreciate the art of these timepieces that my dad saw. I have a very small collection of my own (nothing super special besides my dads old watch) but you inspire me to learn more and delve deeper into it, and one day I can't wait to invest into some more timepieces

Very sorry to hear about your father. However, you bring up one the best aspects of this world of watches. These little objects have the ability to connect and transcend our existence given they are made to last. I hope this world of watches can always help in keeping alive your connection to your dad. Thanks for the comment!

I will make the bold statement that, historically, Hamilton is the most important American watch maker. Their innovations with the RR pocket watches to their military history to their part in the Calibre 11 group in the race to build the world’s first automatic chronograph. Thanks for the “on-site tour”. While you were there it would have been cool to have interviewed Rowland Murphy at RGM and seen what a former technical director at Hamilton is doing in detail. Great show!

This is my first luxury watch this watch is absolutely gorgeous the way light reflects off of the indices and the warm hue of the dial makes me fall in love with this watch every time I wear it. The smooth wind with the crown is amazing too. I really love this piece my only 2 gripes would be the thickness of the watch and the bracelet could be slightly more comfortable but it looks stunning especially when being worn mid-day. Amazing review Teddy for an amazing timepiece.

Yo Teddy, great to see a video so close to home. If you are ever in the Gettysburg area, I highly recommend The House of Time...I just met the owner today who has a pretty neat background: railroad watch inspector, watch museum caretaker in Lancaster, now with his daughter at their shop on the Gettysburg square with a solid array of clocks and pocketwatches, wrist pieces too. Today they had four super clean Hamilton 992b movements and a 950 on hand - such pleasant sounds & beautiful dials.

I absolutely love the new design, but I really hate that it isn't thinner. That's my main gripe. I also worry about the crystal; since it's slightly more domed, I feel like it's more likely to strike on passing surfaces. Overall though, a beautiful watch, and one I would love to have. Teddy, I would love to see you compare side by side this new Intramatic with a vintage one!

I live in Central PA. and two summers ago was in the area here and stopped by this complex. It kind of gave me goose bumps thinking about how people would walk up that sidewalk to go into their work station to make watches and pocket watches. I would also be willing to bet there are prob people living there in the apartment complex that have no idea of the history of the building. There might be more inside, but outside the only markings are the clock towers, and the H on the iron fence going in. Interesting side note.....about 15-20 mins up the road is the town of Lititz, PA where Rolex has one of their watch making schools. The building is absolutely beautiful. Somebody with the credentials of Teddy might be able to get in for a tour, but other wise the place is like Fort Knox. In 2021, you can almost assume you are being watched. But when I was walking around the Rolex building, I KNEW I was being watched....HA! I am by no means a professional vlogger, but there is a video of my trip on my page.

I know that feeling of goosebumps when you look at an old building or factory. I am from Massachusetts and I used to work in a print shop that was a shoe factory in a previous life. Huge white building with 2 wings connected by a covered bridge with a railroad track below. The print company didn't change anything except for removing the original machine tools and putting in the printers. Just like you see in old photos from the 19th century with every printer next to the windows and original wooden floor boards running the length of each wing. Old, but beautiful and you could almost smell the old leather-works and tanning chemicals. Fascinating to say the least.
