What do you expect? You don't work you don't make money. You don't make money you can't pay your rent! Homeowners and landlords also have bills to pay. And the majority of families, live paycheck to paycheck. And anyone who has any money saved in the bank it's probably gone from paying bills. Maybe the landlord needs the rent to keep thier house. Not all landlords are rich the homeowners have bills too they don't live for free. But at least pay what you consume in utilities. @@audreybaker807 the point I was making is for the governments - the landlords need their rent to keep their roof over their heads and to pay their bills. The renters are out of job and having trouble paying their bills and rent. The jobs have closed down because of this lockdowns and they can’t afford to pay their staff or keep the doors open. We are in a pandemic and the bills stay the same or the price of things goes up- how does that work? First they should freeze the cost on everything. Stop raising the cost on things

How can people get organized and fight back for the rental debts that they owe? While I feel sorry for those who face extraordinary hard time during the pandemic, but we are all in the same boat. Those landlords also face hard time themselves during the pandemic because they also have to pay mortgages on their rental properties plus strata fees. Who will pay their bills?
@sg5720

That is why the government has to step up and help the landlords financially until tenants can get back to work. It is not the landlords fault and it is not the tenants faults. The problem is tenant don’t have jobs and land lords can’t get their money out of a stone, so just like Airlines are getting financial relief so should the landlords.

Landowners will lose everything. They owe hundred of thousands. Often your rent is essential to meet the landowners expenses. Landlords are responsible or lose it all. Renters need to live within their means and be responsible. Most of the rentals are not owned by billionaires. If renters cannot pay they need to move in with family and friends. The government takes our taxes to look after people who cannot pay their way. It is not the responsibly of private home owners to support renters. Renters who are trying to meet their obligations have been accommodated.

• 8:15 - Of course it does. Landlords have no intention of taking a hit like everybody else. Even carriers/providers, and utilities tried to accommodate people during the pandemic (at least the beginning) by reducing rates or something, but landlords are special and better than everybody who couldn't go to work and make money or businesses that couldn't stay open and make money; they expect to get all back rent and not be affected by the pandemic at all. 🙄 😒 • 13:07 - Is that why Sobey's prices are so damned high the store is useless to anyone that doesn't own Amazon or Tesla? 🤔 • 16:30 - Yeah, see, it's not so bad, for every 500 people that lose their jobs to a machine, one engineer gains a job. 👍 • 19:28 - Yup, job creation, 1,500 jobs created for the 30,000 that are obsolete. Whenever the topic of overpopulation comes up, people only focus on food but that's hardly the only resource that there isn't enough to go around. 🤦 • 21:28 - "The citizens of Wuhan did nothing wrong, they didn't want to create this virus", and yet, they learned and changed _nothing_ from when they created the SARS pandemic in 2003 and repeated everything they did last time, resulting in a new pandemic. If the world doesn't hold China accountable this time, then they'll learn and change nothing again and cause a new outbreak in 2027 that will be so bad that it ends the world. 😒
