You should be ashamed to want to show this! dirty streets and derelict buildings in the middle of New York cohabitated by black people 😢

Flatbush is. African descendant/Black. 53% European American/White. 18% Latin American/Hispanic or Latino. 17% Asian. 7% There's a lot of diversity in Flatbush even though it's a predominantly African descendant area. Some parts of Flatbush are more White than Black, some with large populations of Hispanics and Asians.

Pretty typical outer borough neighborhood on a weekday morning. It is a commercial area and a transportation hub with the college nearby so things are bustling. Almost everyone in the video is on their way to work or school and moving with purpose. The shopkeepers are friendly. Looks safe that time of day though you always need to be alert. Things likely get much sketchier in the evening or if you get away from that main avenue. I seem to be seeing less of the migrant candy sellers on my train line of late. Over the last couple of years you would often see them hawking chocolate with an anchor baby strapped to their back.

Are you referring to the title of the video? If yes, it's a pronoun. I used it to get the audience attention.

No it doesn't. As a Native New Yorker, Kingston looks and is a whole lot worse. What you see in this video isn't anywhere near what the situation in Kingston Jamaica looks like. Flatbush is way more diverse than Jamaica.
