The track at Big 10s is actually even more weird than an indoor 400m track. It’s an in 300m track. It’s super weird

The world indoors will be so interesting! Are you going to put all the stuff that happens in 1 big video? That would be awesome

the thing with guy learmonth is that there were a lot of people who actually performed worse than him at the national champs that did get selected.

In the same event? Did they have a condition that they'd take the first two provided they had the qualifying time?

@@archie6945 He came second in the 800 and had the qualifying time. In the 1500 they took both second and third.

Hey, you forgot about the 6.51 that Kalen walker ran at big ten. It was amazing. Excellent video too.

4:04 "ran poorly in his national champs"... He came second in the finals, running the same time as the winner (to the same hundredth of a second, 1:47.91). He led the whole race and just got pipped on the line for the win. It would've been a local world champs for him, and a good send off to his career. Literally no reason not to send him, just BA's ridiculous selection criteria that fucked him over.

Jakob ran 3:31.18 the year he turned 18, and Niels Laros ran 3:31.25 the year he turned 18. It's gonna be interesting to see what Cameron Myers can do this year.

6:07 actually it was an indoor 300 m track, and some schools have them. Ohio State, Iowa State, Colorado, etc.

Parker Valby is the best distance runner and is incredibly fast. In her 3000m race, her own teammates acted as pacers for Parker. She would have broken 3000m NCAA indoor record. The coaches wanted Parker to conserve energy for the NCAA indoor championships.

thankfully there is no doping in track and field since we busted the Russians. All good, 17 is the new 27 :)))
