@latonyagreen-warner7402
4 жыл бұрын
@@anxi3098 When I was young, I would get sleep paralysis all of the time. People told me that the devil was sitting on my chest and that was the reason why i couldn't move. When I finally understood the scientific reasoning behind sleep paralysis, I no longer feared it. Now, whenever I find myself parsylized with fear and unabled to wakeup or scream, I do the following: First, I have to recognized that sleep paralysis is taking place and I breathe slowly so that I dont panic. Then Instead of tensing up my body or trying to fight it, instead I relax my shoulder and neck muscles. Finally, I start praying (for me, I like the Lord's prayer). Im sure any prayer/ meditation will work. Once Im relaxed and prayed up, I wake up. To prevent myself from falling back into sleep paraylisis, I sleep on my sides. I found out that I have a better chance of experiencing sleep paraylisis, if Im sleeping on my back. I recommend doing sone research on the subject. We tend to fear the unknown. Once we understand the reasoning behind it, we no longer fear it🙂🙂. Sweet dreams

This is a true story. Back in September of 2014, I woke up in the middle of the night and literally inches from my face, there was an old lady ghost kneeling down and staring at me. Of course I was terrified so I immediately jumped up and started screaming and running towards the door. I watched as she slowly evaporated into nothingness. To this day, I always sleep facing the wall and under the covers because I don’t wanna wake up and see ghosts.

I’ve had a couple dozen episodes of sleep paralysis for the last 15 years. The first half were terrifying - including one incident where I was on my stomach and it felt like someone was on my back strangling me. Another time I was facing my sleeping ex-gf, but her face was distorted and eyes wide open, like an evil old woman. I’ve had so many experiences that I’m not afraid anymore, in part to recognizing a pattern with them. They occur when I’m either sleeping too much on that particular day (I may have napped earlier), or I’m sick with the flu (where I may have been over-resting then too). To try to break the paralysis in the middle of it, I concentrate on moving my toes. This works after about 15 seconds. I’ve even tried to hold the paralysis for as long as possible just for the fun or challenge of it. Usually, the intensity increases and I want out and quit.

I've only experienced it a few times. I was more surprised than worried about it, lm used to lucid dreaming so never really afraid of what my mind can present. But l can remember a couple of times where it felt like l couldn't breathe at all and that was concerning because l didn't know how long l would be stuck in that state. That was a bit concerning, but eventually the body reacts and gasps for air, it normally breaks the sleep paralysis then as well. I can remember trying to hold onto the state before but never could for long, could be very interesting if l could take full control of it.
@DopamineFeining

I lost three and when I was finally pregnant with my daughter I was having nightmares. A girl entering my dream, pulling my kids father in the dark and then attacking me while he poked his head from the shadows. Then she with 6 horses entered again and she'll be riding 6 white horses when she comes had been music in there. We had fights, I saw a demon touch her father's back. She came around soon after. People were using Astral projection to assault and do rituals, my kid was having nightmares at 2 yrs old so I fought back. A guy, small time actor and musician I knew since childhood masturbated to my pictures while I was with my kids father then astrally assaulted me when I didn't want to be around him anymore. He taught me the word voygerism so Astral peeping toms are out there. Pray for enemies I still did. I still do.

You also have no trouble of getting air since you keep breathing, you just dont realize because you are paralyzed

This happened to me a couple of days ago and I've been obsessed since. Someone in a hoody with a red eyes wide shut style mask was staring at me while I tried to get up but couldn't move (was standing not on my chest) . Woke up in relief went back to sleep and it happened again, someone in hoody with more like a long nosed witches mask on their face just walking around this time wasn't concerned with me. Slept with the lights on the night after. Has happened in a slightly different way years ago as well. I'd had a few beers and was dreaming very vividly before hand suspect that had a hand in it.

I've had a sleep paralysis dream with two demons. To be honest I was quite disappointed in them. I was scared of what they'll do next, but not what they were doing. What were they doing you ask? One was opening and closing my drawers while the other was going "ooOoooOoooo spooOoOoky".

The weird thing for me is l would always dream completely rediculous things that could never forseeably happen, but then they would, months or years later. It always felt different to a normal dream, stuck in my head and was completely random. Now if only l could dream about winning the lottery and seeing the numbers....

I had sleep paralysis yesterday afternoon, I woke up, and for some reason it was nightime but I didn't think anything of it at first. I went to my laptop as I always do, but in the corner of my screen I saw a file being downloaded called "MALWARE" which is so random but yeah, anyways after that my body completely gave out and I turned to my door and saw this old raggedy lady just standing there smiling at me with VERY wide eyes, I started calling out for my aunt who I live with and I could hear myself actually speaking. I woke up and it was still day time. Im kind of annoyed that this old saggy hag had the NERVE to come into my room and disrupt my sleep but oh well. I hope it doesn't happen to me again :

I've never actually had sleep paralysis but I know people who have. I also one heard fear is controlled by the same thing as excitment. So sometimes when I feel fear I tell myself I'm excited so I start to feel that way. Maybe while having sleep paralysis tell yourself your excited. I wonder if itd work to make it less scary of an experience

I don’t think it is sleep Paralysis, My step dad passed away 3yrs ago and I went to hospital where he died and saw his body for the last time. I went home and went to bed and didn’t fall all the way asleep and a dark shadow appeared at the foot of the bed and I couldn’t move or breath. It happened again when my Dad passed away this year same thing I went to hospital and came home and it happened again. I think it was the angel of death attaching itself to me and coming home with me. I’ve been thru a lot with depression , ptsd from Iraq and all the terrible things I’ve seen,I think it was the Angel of Death trying to get me to come over to the other side.

I have had sleep paralysis many times. Sometimes it has been very scary for me. I often dreamed that someone got into my flat and was standing somewhere. In this moment i could never move and had to wait untill i was fully awake. The worst time was, when i opend my eys at night and saw a strange dark creatrure standing at the edge of my bed. It was watching me. I have never been more scared in my life than at this moment and i could not tell if it was real or a dream. The humand mind can be crazy sometimes.

I don’t believe in ghosts or goblins, but I’ve seen the night hag and had sleep paralysis. And its not like you think you are awake and then later wake up suddenly. Your eyes are open… you are awake… you eventually break the paralysis and can get up and stay awake. But while you are paralyzed you can feel the pressure and presence. Your eyes work and you can see the darkness moving. If its not real, why do we all almost see the exact same thing? If we are hallucinating, wouldn’t we all see something different? BTW, I saw it before I ever heard about it or read anything. Later in life I saw an old painting of it and recognized it immediately. It has been visiting me since I was a child.

07.02.2021 - I had been visited yesterday.. I had seen it .. with open eyes. It was like a 130 cm in height.. around 4 feet that is, like a black shadow, kind of elfish form, and like a cloud of smoke. The edges were always slithering, shifting and changing. It was really fast, like a squirrel. It came in by the door and sat by the side of my head, and i tried to punch it but I couldn't. I touched it though. It is real for all i can say. I am a man of science, a software engineer, but all I can say is there are things beyond our understanding and the sooner you accept it the better.

I have experienced the paralysis, it was one of the most interesting(also terrifying) experiences I ever had in my life. But didn't see a figure or something. I just couldn't make any move, I was only able to blink and breathe. It lasted for around 2-3 minutes. Then all of a sudden I moved one of my legs and got out of my bed. Never experienced it again up to this day. It's been around 10 years.

I had sleep paralysis twice in my teens. I saw a shadowy figure at the foot of my bed and then I saw the same one in the corner of my room. Deadass my thought process was “If it’s done nothing so far it’s probably fine” And I went back to sleep. I never saw it again after those two times.
