Hi. BEST is hard to nail down. 3 lasts longer, but as you can see in the video, 1 is better on trim. But on paint, you can't go wrong with either coating.

Brian is an awesome guy and an amazing detailer. I watched his channel for almost 2 years before I realized he's only like an hour and a half away from me. So I took my 1 year old '23 Type-R to him for just an in and out detail (no correction or coating). He's even cooler/nicer in person. Had no problem taking the time out to just BS with me about detailing, various other products, give me some tips/tricks, etc. I asked him about a long shallow scratch that an automated wash left on my front fender and hood after it dragged the arm across the car. He just took care of it without charging me anything extra (I wasn't expecting that, just asked for advice...). He also applied BC3 to the entire exterior for free, just to show me what it can do. That stuff is awesome...my car came out looking better than new, I've never seen it sooo glossy. It looked like a dripping wet candied apple. The beads were super tight, with a really sharp angle. Surprisingly (or not), BC3 lasted me through the entire winter into early spring at least 4+ months (daily driven in Northeastern PA, NJ, and NYC, parked outside). Might of went longer, I just don't know cause I applied other stuff at about the 4+ month mark. It was kinda hilarious, I was telling him about how I can't stop buying new products to try, and that my house and garage is packed to the ceiling with all things detailing, but that I definitely wanted to now buy a bunch if his line of products...Brian actually tried to talk me out of it, so I don't waste my money. Told me just go through what I got first, and not be a hoarder like him, lol! I'ma still buy a bunch of his stuff...they're awesome products.

Shocking how well Rain Dance is doing compared to the much higher priced CCI and a lot cheaper than ADS glass. If No Hype can hang on for at least a year then it’s a no brainer on what to buy. Of course the new owners of No Hype might raise the price😂. Brad is killing it and I love DIY, APEX and Ethos products so that’s saying a lot. Great tests my friend.

You will have no problem with this coating withstanding up to 3 years of use. With any coating the more chemicals you throw at it the more it will continue to degrade, you certainly will not be disappointed.

I might have been too early on the wipeoff when applying or driving too soon before fully curing, wait til the rainbow starts to dissipate for wipeoff and let cure for as long as possible again it’s an entry level coating designed for ease of use enjoy 👍🧼

@@ethoscarcarealso, I would assume that Jamie is not using any toppers in his testing. Would you say that using resist or something of the sort every once in a while would assist in the longevity of the coating?
@MyGuyKirby
5 ай бұрын
Jamie has solid comments, sometimes things impact the longevity of ceramics beyond our control. One factor I thought of is the higher humidity levels since most ceramics are cured due to moisture. That could have the outer layer to flash quicker hence a wipe off might need timed differently
