Softy I'm looking to set one up in my area, buying up various boards ESPs etc to see what's going to be most suitable as a minimum requirement then building a library for it all to operate on

Perhaps a suggestion. This looks like a very effective way to covertly set up a nice rogue AP. My suggestion would be to solder a connection for a couple 2A USB charging ports into the shell that connects to the power lead. This would effectively hide the PI 0 by giving creedance to needing the extra space for dual high amperagr charging ports on a single charging block

If you want more cooling capacity add a few vent holes at the top, because hot air rises up the hot air will vent out the top holes and because there now is less air in the system the bottom holes will serve to bring in fresh air.

I've got one of the nano servers without a case, I'm thinking about modify it to function as a USB charger by adding an adaptor facing outwards next to your custom USB plug. I'm no master at 3D design but I'm going to have a crack. As you asked for feedback I thought I'd see what you think?
