Owning this and listening to this made me feel like I was a part of something. It still does. The music is so simple and yet so complicated... Long live Mute records

Wow. My reprobate friends and I would listen to these back in the 90s when we went clubbing. Honestly, I had no idea they were from 1978. Warm Leatherette is still one of my favorites.

As with so many other effects of the Covid era, this song is perfectly in tune, in the best sense of the word. Sounds better than ever.

Back in my days, 1970-80's...I have heard a lot of screwy but cool New Wave/ Punk Rock tunes and these two classic videos are the most demented tunes I ever heard! Ever hear I Found The Brains of Santa Claus? by Jason and the Strap tones?

based on Crash by JG Ballard.I also think of Mike Teevee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when I hear TV-OD and its become a tv show on ITV2 of outtakes earlier this year.Iconic early synth punk experiment

I love how in Videodrome it subverts (or perverts) the bit in Charlie where Mike TeeVee sticks his hand in the giant TV screen to grab the "real" chocolate bar materializing/teleporting within it, whilst in Videodrome, well, the hand with the gun reaches out.....for you! So sick. Both works way ahead of their times.
