I've had the Borealis Classic for years. I got it when I started college (so maybe... 7 years ago?) and it's still in top shape. I love how comfortable it is when you strap it onto the chest (and I'm a 156 cm short woman lmao). It feels very sturdy and high quality.

@@Lex-rc1gr the Classic Borealis is Unisex. I will say that the first few times I wore it, it felt uncomfortable. But now, years down the line, it's usually my daily driver for gym stuff, or to carry laptop/book/etc to college or work. Also, it's obviously awesome for hiking too. It's lightweight enough but can pack a ton.

@@neldormiveglia1312 ahh perfect. This is just what I hope to hear I’m planning on using it for school with my laptop and textbooks and I want to be able to convert it to a hiking bag too. I have broad shoulders, so that’s why I was planning on getting the unisex but I have a short torso, so that’s why I was worried. Overall the most important thing is that I’m able to fit everything, I probably will find the length of it a little uncomfortable, but nothing will probably be perfect . Thanks for the help.

I’ve had this backpack since 2016 but never really used it. Having seen the newer versions of TNF Borealis I can say that the backpanel of this particular model is way better than the new ones which are bent to an extend that to me becomes annoying. Otherwise, the materials are amazing, they’ll last you for ever.

@@freeleymedia the support gave out around year 6/7 and started to feel flimsy. I did use it heavily during college. I was an English major so I carried a ton of backpacks and carried a 17'' laptop too. I'm currently, looking at the Borealis of course (I bought the Classic design in 2012). Timbuk2 Rogue/2.0. And the Chrome Bravo 2.0 & Echo Bravo. Leaning towards the Borealis, big fan of the new design and organizational capacity but like the minimalist design and size of the Rogue. You have any recommendations?

@@brandonhorn7887 I ended up with the Rogue. I'm into the minimalist design right now and I love that it's practical and forces me to choose what I really need to carry instead of packing it full of things.
