Any Embassy will help you. Oh how true, and they use that to their advantage. One time , when I was travelling through Aussie, I tried to visit my Canadian Embassy. Turned out it was a Aussie National holiday so Embassy was closed with a note on the gate to go to the INDIA embassy. Went there and cautiously asked about my concern. They happily assisted me and explained that all the commonwealth embassies took turns being open for Aussie holidays for all commonwealth citizens. I thought that was a great way to run diplomatic relations.

Actually, British food has really improved over the years. First time I was in the UK in 1991 I thought first that I was behind the Iron curtain. both. the UK would need to approve your extradition to the DPRK and that is unlikely, so it is likely you would end up being punished under UK law since they would not want to send you of their citizens to a work camp, that would be a huge PR disaster, but they also wouldn't want to encourage more people doing something like that so they would make an example.

Britain and Japan had a longstanding intelligence alliance from the Meiji restoration to right before WWII, which led to a lot of shared developments such as both countries being the first to develop dreadnought and dreadnought-style warships.
