Who would have thought that perhaps THE most incredible performance of this incredible concert would be one of Dylan's most obscure songs, sung by a group the polar opposite of him ? THAT'S the sign of masterful writing and magnificent talent.

@@dannystewart3854 Yeah, they topped the charts with the other version but did it up so right for Bobfest. It's so funny how with all the big names on that bill, I turn to this song and the Clancy Brothers most. Ronnie Wood was awesome too.

This video-clip is the perfect example of why I never seem to spend a SHORT amount of time on KZitem.........I'm constantly discovering a precious performance (like this), that I had no previous knowledge even existed. A half-hour seems to ALWAYS evolve into 2 and a half-hours in front of my computer! You can bet......I'm enjoying every minute.

yeah people think Kris Kristofferson is only a country act, but he embraced all kinds of genres... he also was the "go to guy" for new blues/soul music for Janis Joplin who rarely wrote or co-wrote music herself,. He also helped introduce Gram Parsons to LA's Frank Zappa, his record labels, and last but not least, The Byrds.
