I love the O'jays but this album has a definite 70's vibe.

The sensational legend, O' Jays, still maintaing their unique musical and vocal harmonies with relavant culture messages/ lyrics of inspirations and love. I hear maturity, embellished and cultivated instrumentalists, background singer. I like that I can actually hear and listen to their comprehensive lyrics and transparent unifying instruments. Awesome!

They finally integrated (again) real instruments,an orchestra and even a conga player.Good job.Just wished they would have never followed the trend of using synthesizers & drum machines to begin with back in the early 80's.

Found this on the closing credits of their PBS special "O'Jays Live in New York". Too bad they didn't perform it during the show. Its got that Philly vibe from the 70s. Love it.
