I have an RX 470 4GB card, and I recently installed Hogwarts Legacy. I can tell you, FSR saves the day. In the beginning of the game it ran the shader config, ran a quick benchmark and used the recommended settings. It certainly looks like mud for me a lot of times, but if I wait and stand in one place for a few seconds, the textures are loading up properly and it looks incredible. It's true that I've installed it on a 75% health HDD (wih quite a few bad sectors) instead of SSD and I can clearly see that sometimes that's contributing to slower loading assets. All in all, if it was not for FSR, I wouldn't be able to play the game, and I was a huge Harry Potter fan in my childhood, and since I've avoided all spoilers before, didn't see any videos, didn't know what to expect, and I can tell, I'm in love with the game. The look reminds me of my 512mb Palit 8600GT I had, back in the day. I think I saved up a whopping £90 for that bad boi.

Cyberpunk has turned out to be such a great game in the end! As far as performance is concerned it runs on a lot lower spec hardware than I thought could be possible, by a lot!

back in the days when passive cooling or at most some small fan can cool a GPU, not some giant heatsink that can bend the PCB itself.

This kind of performance is what i would expect from something like a 1050. Very impressive. Is it the same/similar card as the R7 260x?

@@Negiku Indeed, with slighty improvements and support for more memory. Same core is inside PS4 a XBOX One.

That Hogwart Legacy looks like those old PS2 Harry Potter games tho. Not great, but kinda nostalgic imo

I can't recall which brand offhand, but I'm running a R7 360 2GB too. Kind of cool to see it can actually still play a bit if paired with a modern CPU. Mine is paired with a CPU of it's time, the FX-8350, so it's not a monster gaming PC for sure. ;-p Luckily for me I only play old games so it's just fine.

Hogwarts legacy will load textures in correctly when you lower the resolution it’s something to do with 2 gb graphics cards fsr doesn’t help you have to actually lower the resolution

Always cool to see these old cards hanging in there. Still irritated and dropped official support for them since modders who are doing it for free are managing just fine
