@@artofdestinations2463 Yeah, the Stanley actor made $4 million from the show, if he was going to be the star of a show, he could have put up a bit of his own money along with the producers who would have plenty of money and just put out a petition to see if people were interested. Kickstarter would be good for stuff that wasn't mega popular that producers might not want to take a chance on and gives the fans a chance to bring something they love to life but there's no good reason to ask for handouts when the thing you're doing a spin off of previously made an ungodly amount of money.

He should know what he's getting into before he goes around advertising it. Either he's a sellout who will do literally anything for money without looking into its legitimacy first or he's a con man with no regard for his audience. The public may not be a fan of it but from the corporate side it is just another form of a digital reward. Sad1ly tbh this minimizes the actual usages of how nft technology can be actually used but companies do seem to be in the mood to use it more the digital good s1ide so that isnt too out of the norm

If "Uncle Stan" is reasonably inferred to be a derivative of "Stanley Hudson" then (Disney owned) Freeform (among others) would burn that $300k in a month's worth of legal bills. They would have to call it "Uncle Bill" and he'd have to be a retired school teacher from Amarillo, TX to avoid any legal hassle. The fact that this "Uncle Stan" character was billed as a spinoff from the start has doomed the show from ever happening (since Sardar Khan specifically stated "...an office spin off series based on Stanley Hudson...").

There is literally no instance where LDB has acknowledged the existence of this show. This guy Sardar Khan is just pretending to be him on Instagram and Twitter (and the reddit AMA). If LDB really did have literally anything to do with this show he would have been seen mentioning it at least once SOMEWHERE, but he hasn't. The one video they have of LDB on the kickstarter page where he talks about the plot of Uncle Sam is him not talking about a show, but reciting a script somebody wrote for him. LDB does things where people pay him to say certain lines all the time. If this show were real, there would definitely be a more substantial video on the front page of the kickstarter than something as vague as that without the deepfried comic sans thumbnail. I'm surprised Gus Johnson and even 10K Productions bought Khan's shit.
