I actually had the worst acne of my life when I used to shower every day. I was told that showering strips the hair and skin of natural oils and it makes the body compensate by producing even more oil, which is kinda wild. Fun fact. I spent a year only scrub washing my body every 2 day because I’m weird and like to experiment. My body was much more moisturized at the end with no problems with pore clogging or anything. So it was all good. But I took that first shower with shampoo and scented soap.. it’s body orgasm when it hits you. It was a good experiment though. Learned that my skin is 😮drier than most people and that I should only use it around 1 time a week. I’ve lost my night time itches, etc. learning from the experiment. I really think it’s on a individual basis how much you need to show/how you shower. You probably don’t need to do the experiment as long as I did, but it will teach you about your skin and hair, and how you treat them correctly. Always add lotion after. Don’t want to be ashy.
