Very good video, but you forgot to mention the players OkC acquired this year, plus all the draft capital. Ok should be the model of team development, and they coming!

Really like your videos but Presti is the easily the most overrated NBA executive online that I've ever seen, between 2010 and 2021 he made 1.5 good draft picks. Half the reason the KD era ended without him being able to win there was Presti being addicted to drafting white dudes who are too tall for their position and can't shoot, which hasn't really changed lol. And the NBA isn't like 2K where you can just cash in all your picks at once for a star, who still isn't going to want to play in OKC long term.

between 2010 and 2021 Presti picked 3 white dudes. Steven Adams (great player), Mitch McGary and Alex Abrines. The last 2 could not be described as too tall for their position and Abrines could shoot. Most of the picks in those years were in the 20 range, where no team finds much long term value barring a few outliers. What are you talking about? Cam Payne was probably the only big time miss during those years considering his draft position

What are you talking about OP? Aside from Pop and Buford, is there any other current FO with the draft history of Presti? Im betting half of the GMs in the NBA would murder a sibling for his drafting abilities.... i often wonder if we can package "presti will pick for you in the draft" as value in a trade.

@@oliverjames9138 Thank you for answering intelligently with facts. The comma's comment was pretty silly and didn't seem to merit a response with all the hyperbole and lack of accuracy. Presti is easily one of the best GMs in the league and has an incredible record in the draft. I'm not even an OKC fan normally but will be pulling for them to have success next season.

@@JimBob-jr5up You're right. Look at the Warriors. After Larry Riley picked Steph and Klay -- and was demoted for his efforts -- they have a terrible draft record under Bob Myers, even blowing their #2 with Wiseman. They did make some great trades and obviously the KD signing was a no-brainer. But the draft picks have been fairly weak. Hit on Green and Poole -- and now they've dumped Poole. Presti, working in a small market much like the Spurs, has done an incredible job.

@@julucaesar168yah it is and i never even heard the Kobe comparison until like a month ago... Russ is def comparable, quite often he looked like pre-2007 Kobe, but not KD. The only comparison ive been able to come up with for KD, is what happens when Dirk and TMac have a baby. Right? Thats the only way to accurately describe his game and skill set.
