WOW, I LIVED IN THE BLACK HILLS FOR A FEW YEARS, 2004 Time frame. Recognize a few of these places, still have a DEEP love for that area, but being from Michigan most of my life, I came back because I missed the water. GREAT PRESENTATION!😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Notice there was no bodily comfort in the Old West. You had to be a rugged person to make it back then. Just loved the wonderful pics, watching as I set from the comfort of my couch!

One of your bests yet. There was no room for wokeness in this era. It was eat or be eaten. Day to day survival was harsh enough. Thank goodness for continual technical progress of the west. Even just 30 years later, technological revolution in the early 20th century vastly improved people's lives.

I LOVE all the Indian photos. They are such beautiful people their facial features are just so beautiful to me. Can anyone imagine LIVING in a wigwam? Now that's minimalist living! Ha ha ha And the old timey sod schoolhouse? Ha ha or the Horse and buggy drawn Wells Fargo? The man sitting in the back with a riffle across his lap? This was really fun. Thank you.

Thanks again. New music. I'll bet it can be hard to find new music, but it makes it more pleasant. Again, tks. Those were some tough people that opened new country and settled it not knowing just what they were in for.

I've heard the first two songs watching pro rodeo wrecks. I like pictures like this, because people have all but forgotten just how brutal life was when the country was expanding. Countless souls dead and forgotten on those wide expanses of territory. Disease swept them away so often, it became seen as an everyday occurrence. There were no roads for a very long time, only native, wagon or prospector trails. It was vicious, violent, savage and heartbreaking. Thank you all, who came here before me. My life is a paradise compared to the hell you endured in pursuit of freedom and hopefully a better life.

@user-fv5ms4sz8e That's one way to look at it. Life was also beautiful unspoiled country, fresh air, clean sparkling water and the freedom of the wide open spaces. If life was too rough on the high plains go back East the big cities in the northeast had all the comforts and conveniences.

@@rtflone My observation was in appreciation for the many sacrifices made, not anything else. How do you even participate in memorial day? Do you go to the memorials or graveyards and go, "Yeah, they died horrible deaths, but they had a good time before they laid down their lives for freedom?" What a ridiculous and heartless thing you said about my comment.

I have to say Wonderful pictures of the Old West , Allways been interested in the Western Days of Old . I did feel sorry a bit for horses with Stagecoach? We what the Western on T V , ON average 6 peaple riding, six horses, In those days I've counted fifteen peaple? Four Horses, Anyway, I love my Westerners, I would have loved to live in those Times, The Trouble is how long ? 650 Thousand young Soldiers lost in the Civil War , i think that figure is on the Union side alone, ? Anyway. Brilliant Pictures, 😂.

You would be surprised what new migrants know about American history, especially those that study to become citizens. But as a Native American, you probably know it all, eh? Or were you referring to your own ancestors?

@@brucestaples4510 And, judging from your response, you'd be surprised all they don't know. Take a gander at "The Squad" in D.C. and their statements as an example. Americans are inculcated with American history having grown up with it all about them. An educational system that once taught American history and celebrated American Judeo-Christian customs throughout the years. Yet you can so smugly sit back in your comfy chair, hot coffee, chocolate or more than likely -- whiskey, at hand and pontificate about someone you know nothing about. Go back to your somnolent ways and do everyone a welcome favor.
