Maybe a weird question, but what is your fuel consumption? The 2.3L in 2019 mustang gets about 9.7L/km or 24 MPG. Although the 1968 mustang is less aerodynamic, it is much lighter and therefore will consume less fuel, so swapping the V8 for the 2.3 should improve fuel efficiency quite a bit.

Super nice. I drive a 2011 qx56 with a 5.7 Guzzler. 😆 I was thinking to swap out the motor to this 4 cylinder but an auto. Our qx56 is just the right size for our family but wastes so much fuel. It has even taught me to drive it right babying it. But nope. It sucks. So I am thinking about this motor. I don't race the SUV or anything. Awesome swap
