I thought it was obvious ....they feel and suffer just like us in any identical situation that causes us pain, whether grief or physical injury of any kind. Yet the very thing done to us that causes outrage, is accepted as normal when done to them. That's irrational, it's selfish, its obvious hypocrisy of the worst kind. Thank you for your action for our ever suffering animals.

I just want to spend a Moment crediting The Vegans for just a brief while. hi. You are what it means to be human. you are a restorer of faith in humanity, by. your accomplishment of BEING a Vegan. you sacrifice your self: your social life, your convenience, and for many, your taste buds and your wardrobes for others bc you're able to live up to your name "human", rather than sacrificing others lives for your wealth, social-life, trends, and etc which is what most people do, which is what I used to do. to non-Vegans if any are reading: Go Vegan and go YOUNG - don't wait, or you will regret it.

Where do you start when your team doesn't have the same funding as the other team? Where do you start when you have kind and intelligent people staring injustice in the face and they still can't see it and do better? Thanks for your uplifting words, David. You're addressing a small army of AR activists, and without their acts of disruption and raising awareness, change would wait much much longer. Keep on fighting, keep the pressure on!
@VeggoFix

Good questions. Most people have their heads filled with misinformation telling them that they need animal products to be healthy and they let their morals be guided by their actions and taste preferences, not the other way around. The difference in funding is hard to change. There are vegan brands that try to fight back by sponsoring activism through charities. (just like the animal industry sponsors their lobby groups)

The way i put it...mind you i am just starting my journey on vegetarian...then onto vegan...when i told my partner they were shocked. ( honestly i never was a big meat eater, so it is actually easy for me...and i can't drink cows milk anyway...so i am off to a great start, lol. But i told them it was a win win situation. On one hand it is healthier and on the other i dont partake in the industry. So far its been great, but i think they were shocked and are still coming to terms with it, which is wild because i am the one who decided to do it. Any tips, tricks, or resources would be appreciated. Thank you in advance and keep up the great work.

Yeah because no rational argument can convince a vegan because you have an emotional problem with the way animals are treated. The only way I would be able to change your mind would be if I somehow changed the feelings you have when you see a mammal being mistreated and I can't do that.

@chronicle8080 Tell your vegan friends, they might give a toss. Morality is subjective. In a nutshell, we create our own definition of morality through our interactions with the people around us. Ideas about what is and what is not moral are guided by our unique human reasoning and intelligence, and not just by our feelings or gut reactions and definitely not by what vegturds say.

Great speech. However. I think the distinction between sympathy and empathy is not correct. (People get this wrong all the time.) Empathy is feeling what someone else is feeling; sympathy is feeling sorry for what someone else is feeling. Crying about animals would be more like empathy (though I would argue we can never actually empathize with what they go through); feeling pity for them would be sympathy. Both are valid reactions but neither leads to action. Empathy can lead to despair and giving up. Only decision leads to action.
