For eliminating odor: put an item and a couple handfuls of grounded mustard seeds in a plastic bag, tie it, and leave it be for a day or two. Usually does the trick

P. S. Piano sounds or anything classical is fine when you are talking and when you are changing clothes. I get annoyed quick by people's music choices either it doesn't fit with the images or its just too loud. And there's this thing when people post Paris videos they automatically add croissants shitty songs. You don't have to. I like classical, 80s,techno, disco some French and rain sounds. 😊

The white undershirts for 3,50 EUR at Zeemann are litterally the best ones out there. Every time i'm in Berlin I buy a few more. Some of them i've had for 15 years and washed probably hundreds of times, and they are still in perfect shape!

I feel the same when it comes to vintage smell. Since 14 yrs I've been obsessing on grandpa/army clothes so most of these clothes have a certain smell but nowadays the smell of clothing are getting worse so im that person who smells it before buying anything unless it's really really a great find. My last vintage smelling purchase was a Gianni Versace shirt. Not Versus, not Donatella not Versace but a Gianni Versace find haha I wanted that shirt since the 90s and found it but because of the smell I thought you know what I'll make someone else happy with it. I have faith that I will find it again. Here's a tip to get rid of vintage smell. Fill a small spray bottle with diluted white vinegar or cheap alcohol. I myself mix it with a bit of bicarbonate. Lightly mist your leather/jacket on the inside and outside (do not drench) Hang the item outside (weather permitting) or near an open window to dry. Finish with a coat of leather conditioner to maintain the softness of the leather jacket. There's this organic leather conditioner which doesn't have a smell. You can get it in naturalia or any other organic store. Make sure its for all colors. There are more obscure vintage stores in Paris people don't know. I miss your shorter bob hair. Oh and at the huge Leclerc store they have these light rings with standards are quite cheap if u need more light. ❤

I like minimalist and even futuristic style and it’s not easy to find those pieces, especially in vintage stores. But if you don’t mind altering your vintage finds they can look so stylish in the end. I have same obsession for socks too. I am always on the hunt for natural fibre like wool, cashmere blend aesthetically pleasing socks.

Vintage is truly a universe of possibilities, fabrics are sometimes easier than finding good cuts and design tough, but 90s are usually beautifully fitting 💕 and yes, socks are amazing, just got my first pair of cashmere ones and I’m def not disappointed ☺️

Thrifting is already getting known to the main stream. I grew up knowing about estate sales and vintage shopping "secrets" I have also had the thoughts that I don't want alllll the secret stashes to find the niche styles being shared, then I realized there is an endless amount of clothing in the world and as long as people are dying and there collections being sold (estate sales) there will always be plenty and MORE!!!!! Let's not get greedy now.
