Oh Aubrey's Adventures at the Brixton Academy what a sound [system] that Jet fighter flying round the room breaking all barriers of both reality & sound Never been so gorgeously lost & found in an audio landscape. Bumped into Bobby Gillespie (literally:) at one point & laughed my head off, told him I've never seen anyone so very off it & he laughed his head off :) Special times ❤️

Oh my lord, what a gem to find in the digital realm. Just had an "experience" with close friends watching this on original VHS and it's still as fresh as the day it was made. Does what it's supposed to 😊 Tunes are timeless too.

Way back in like 1992 when I was going to SF State they invited us to a free listening/watch party & played this video on the walls of the SF Morrison Planetarium in Golden Gate Park. For wayback when it was the coolest thing ever! I really remember the beautiful whales swimming the walls & what a great soundtrack. Great place to play it at. Thank You The Orb 30 years later! U blew my young mind away at the time. This is literally the 2nd time I've seen it in 30 years. Def left an impression on me. :)

@@ninstar8165 Saw them twice on this tour, at Brixton and Hatfield Poly a few days earlier, later that year saw them in Brighton, and then spent the next 3 years attending just every Orb gig I could go to:- The Brixton allnighters from 92-93 were AMAZING with the levelled out dancefloor, and the Copenhagen Trekronner Sunset/Sunrise gigs were an almost ethereal* experience * I mean, obviously a total face-full of chemicals helped, but even so...

Ting called life Perpetual Dawn mash up is just the best version of the track. Worth the extortionate prices that are being charged for second hand cd releases of this recording. It was broadcast live by the BBC at the time, then the patterns and textures VHS came out with this cd as a bonus.

so i bought the vhs back in the day and everyone i lived with left one weekend to go to some out of town party but i stayed home, ordered a few pizzas, bought some weed and had some acid and the place all to myself. i started with some bud and a pizza then some of my friends dropped by to see what i was up to, so we all dosed and watched this video 8 times in a row (that's 8 hours of the orb), really high. each time we were mesmerized by the new things we saw appear on the tv screen. love the soundtrack. love the band. when they eventually came to montreal to play, i did way too much acid and ended up chilling to dj dominic woozey most of the night. the afterparty was awesome, but i missed most of the orb's set. i bet it was smashing!
