One very intriguing aspect not mentioned in this talk, something I came across in The science of self realization, Prabhupada says the jiva is spiritual in nature however it’s just a spark, which when freed from material contamination , develops a “spiritual body “. If that happens or not and in which way seems to be related to the different kinds of liberation. “So you are also spark, part and parcel of God; therefore you assemble with the other sparks, brahma-jyotir. Those who have no information of the other spiritual planets, Vaikuṇṭha or Goloka Vṛndāvana, they think to become one with the spiritual sparks, that is ultimate. For them, this is the place, sāyujya-mukti.” (Jan 7th, 1973 Bombay, NoD) What is not clear is, after acquiring or developing a spiritual body, if one could return to the stage of being “just a spark” or if it would be a permanent thing. “There are five different kinds of liberation. One who merges into the spiritual aura of Kṛṣṇa, known as the impersonal Brahman effulgence, does not fully develop his spiritual body. But one who fully develops his spiritual existence becomes an associate of Nārāyaṇa or Kṛṣṇa in different spiritual abodes. One who enters into the abode of Nārāyaṇa develops a spiritual form exactly like Nārāyaṇa’s (four-handed), and one who enters into the highest spiritual abode of Kṛṣṇa, known as Goloka Vṛndāvana, develops a spiritual form of two hands like Kṛṣṇa’s.” (From SSR, chapter 3) I was hoping Maharaj could eventually delve into this topic, I have not read all of SB and CC, but it seems this issue is not very much discussed. The question could be raise about the possibility of falling from specific spiritual planets, could be different for Goloka or Vaikuntha if the spiritual body is different in those planets. For instance, one could speculate if it’s possible to fall from Vaikuntha but not from Goloka because the spiritual body is different. Prabhupada mentions one who enters the abode of Narayana has a four handed spiritual body while in Goloka it’s two handed. What are the implications of that is not clear.

Thank you, Maharaj. 🙏🏽 But where does Srila Prabhupada say that, "no one falls from Vaikuntha." I have not seen this anywhere. Thank you.

Pranam. Srila Prabhupada mentions this in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and explains it in detail. In Bhagavad-gītā (4.8) also it is said that the Lord appears just to give protection to the devotees and to annihilate the nondevotees. The nondevotees are found in the material world, not in the spiritual world; therefore, when the Lord wants to fight, He has to come to this world. But who will fight with the Supreme Lord? No one is able to fight with Him! Therefore, because the Lord’s pastimes in the material world are always performed with His associates, not with others, He has to find some devotee who will play the part of an enemy. In Bhagavad-gītā the Lord says to Arjuna, “My dear Arjuna, both you and I have appeared many, many times in this material world, but you have forgotten, whereas I remember.” Thus Jaya and Vijaya were selected by the Lord to fight with Him in the material world, and that was the reason the sages came to see Him and accidentally the doorkeepers were cursed. It was the Lord’s desire to send them to the material world, not perpetually, but for some time. Therefore, just as on a theatrical stage someone takes the part of enemy to the proprietor of the stage, although the play is for a short time and there is no permanent enmity between the servant and the proprietor, so the sura-janas (devotees) were cursed by the sages to go to the asura-janas, or atheistic families. That a devotee should come into an atheistic family is surprising, but it is simply a show. After finishing their mock fighting, both the devotee and the Lord are again associated in the spiritual planets. That is very explicitly explained here. The conclusion is that no one falls from the spiritual world, or Vaikuṇṭha planet, for it is the eternal abode. But sometimes, as the Lord desires, devotees come into this material world as preachers or as atheists. In each case we must understand that there is a plan of the Lord. Lord Buddha, for example, was an incarnation, yet he preached atheism: “There is no God.” But actually there was a plan behind this, as explained in the Bhāgavatam. (Purport of SB 3.16.26)

From Srila Prabhupada's purport of SB 7.1.35 "From authoritative sources it can be discerned that associates of Lord Viṣṇu who descend from Vaikuṇṭha do not actually fall. They come with the purpose of fulfilling the desire of the Lord, and their descent to this material world is comparable to that of the Lord. The Lord comes to this material world through the agency of His internal potency, and similarly, when a devotee or associate of the Lord descends to this material world, he does so through the action of the spiritual energy. Any pastime conducted by the Supreme Personality of Godhead is an arrangement by yogamāyā, not mahāmāyā. Therefore it is to be understood that when Jaya and Vijaya descended to this material world, they came because there was something to be done for the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Otherwise it is a fact that no one falls from Vaikuṇṭha."

Beginning with Bhaktivinoda thakur a unique type of "preaching" mission began for the benefit of the Western world. This mission was designed by he, and his son Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati goswami and continued by A.C. Bhaktivedanta svami for the concerted purpose of helping the majority of the Judeao/Christian population and others to easily assimilate Vaishnava philosophy by first learning the similarities with their own belief systems concerning the soul, thus this scenario of the soul falling from the kingdom of God was adopted for the "preaching" program. This is the reason why you are finding contradictions. In the absolute teachings of the Vedas, Puranas, and yes, even the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan the so-called "fallen" souls are from time immemorial anadi as baddha jivas and they haven't fallen from anywhere. That has always been their permanent tatastha position until they are enlightended by one who knows the absolute tattva of achintya bheda abheda, and that the jiva soul was never in the spiritual sky - the paravyoma, the Vaikunthas or the supreme abode Goloka. Therefore there are no contradictions. There is only "preaching" according to kala, desa, patra (time, place, situation) for gradually introducing Gaudiya Vaishnava epistemology into the world of western indoctrination. Not even a leaf falls from the absolute realm of God's eternal abode. "The conclusion is that no one falls from the spiritual world or Vaikuntha planet, for it is the eternal abode." (Bhagavatam. 3.16. 26, purp.)

Then how would you explain the nitya Siddhas those who the eternal associates of the Lord?
@RebMcRad

@@vkps108 The nitya siddhas make their appearances with the Lord in the material worlds, and have that power, so they are in their own category, they were never baddha jivas (us) who don't have the ability.
