I think the underlying issue with the period after the Disney renaissance was they were trying to make films like Dreamworks (for the preteen and teen demographic) while under the Disney name. Kids who grew up during the Disney renaissance were aging out of Disney demographic and didn't want to be associated with the mostly G rated namesake (while parents didn't see the new films as kid friendly). Pixar provided that "new brand" for the teens who didn't want to be associated with kids movies while also provided content that kids could also enjoy.

I don't think the Circle Seven version of Toy Story 3 would have been successful considering as described in the video Andy's toys would have acted out of character. It seems jarring to hear Woody and the other toys would have jumped Buzz and shipped him to the factory against his will. Also having the conflict resolved in a big battle also strayed away from the other two movies, which although featuring adventurous situations they did their best in avoiding violence as a resolution to the conflicts.

Maybe since the last time buzz and woody were there sid didn't change & in this universe sid is still torturing toys or something. In Pixar yes it makes sense they taught him lesson don't beat up or break your toys, this isn't Toy Story 3's Pixar. This is circle 7's Toy Story 3. This is their universe outside of Pixar's & things may have altered if Toy Story may have written differently if Pixar didn't make it & circle 7 did in an altered universe format. So Sid is possibly still a bad guy in circle 7's format while Pixar's format Sid is scared helpless without hind clue his toys are alive. Pixar knows circle 7's Toy Story 3 doesn't make any sense. And that's why it never happened. Now that toy story 5 is in production they're taking old notes from toy story 3 by circle 7's playbook & reusing them for The next movie. Guess can't let those armies of buzz lightyears go to waste can you Pixar? No no. Not today. Edit.

Personally, I would have loved to see these films get made. But I'm glad that Pixar was able to take back control of their films. Speaking about Pixar, can you do a What Could Have Been video about their canceled film "Newt"? It was about a male and a female blue-footed newt who were forced together by science to save their endangered species, but they both didn't like each other. It got canceled because its plot was too similar to Blue Sky Studios' animated film "Rio" (2011). Its production got replaced with Inside Out (2015).

And even though some people would argue that it had a "happy ending". I don't agree. There was no need to age Andy up so fast and have him give up all his beloved toys. Plus, for some reason, that girl creeps me out a little. There's just something off-putting about her design or something. I can't explain it. I read the deleted script, and personally? I like it. Is it perfect? No. Some problems: 1. For a start, Buzz is inexplicably paired with one of the new characters instead of continuing his crush on Jessie. (This is more of a plothole than anything else). 2. It feels like Toy Story 2 with Woody and Buzz's roles switched; and Jessie and Bullseye are part of the rescue team as well. (Granted, the stakes are higher this time as Buzz's life is at stake, while that wasn't the case for Woody in 2.) 3. Compared to the movies we actually got, this feels like a sideromp. No one really changes, there's no themes of growing up and Andy is barely crucial to the plot. The other films (including the controversial 4th one) all have Andy have a 'small role, big impact' situation. But that being said, this script does a good job showcasing something I didn't notice before. How similar, yet different Woody and Buzz are in terms of leadership. Buzz is more level headed and strategic, thinking more with his head (eg, getting a map on where they need to go to locate Woody). Woody leaps into things quickly, thinking more with his heart (eg, he gets a flashlight so Jessie won't be scared of the dark, but forgets spare batteries). Both toys are good leaders in their own right, and compliment each other perfectly. My favourite part in the deleted script has to be the part where Woody tries to save Buzz. And the bit where Woody is crouched down next to Buzz after the crusher destroys his leg... that broke my heart.

You should make a video about the plot for the MCU's third Captain America film that would've been in case they didn't get RDJ, which "revolved around the Madbomb from Cap mythology".

Another great video! Well done! The pitch for the alternate Toy Story 3 isn’t that bad surprisingly but we got the far superior version for sure 😉 Bob Iger really did save the day!

There is one movie that never got made; it was in talks for a while until they scrapped it. Diego Luna's Scarface I would love to see that I heard it had a cartel twist in a way. I would love to see how it would have turned out.

"It's like you have these dear children, and you have to give them up to be adopted by convicted child molesters." OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH GOD DAMN! HOLY FUCKING SHIT! JOHN LASSETER BEING BASED AF! I didn't think I could love Lasseter more than I already do, but god DAMN! Fucking love to hear it.

Walt Disney originally planned to do an anthology film centered around the works of Hans Christian Anderson. It would have included early versions of The Little Mermaid and The Ice Queen (which would later become Frozen). It would also have been Disney's first live action/animation hybrid.

Thank You Sir Bullets. But you should make: The Original Plans for Captain America 3 and The Franchise Its about how John Krasinski almost got cast as Captain America in the first film, the second film almost featuring Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye hunting down Steve Rogers and the third film almost featured the Serpent Society The Fox’s Deadpool 3 The Original Script for this film wont include Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and its about Deadpool getting arrested for ruining Cable’s Timeline The Director’s Cut of Madame Web Its about The Original Cut filled with a ton of action which was cut from Reshoots

I'm not so sure about the "Tom Hanks flat-out refused unless the film was produced by Pixar" part, I remember an interview around that time where Hanks was asked about his involvement in a Pixar-less Toy Story 3, and he gave an incredibly evasive answer (so disappointing that I still recall).

Circle 7's version of Toy Story 3 is perfect as a side quest since it was meant to be released for home release instead of in theaters. This was the direction that Disney was going for now as they planned on releasing movies mainly for home video, without Pixar we wouldn't be seeing this movies in theaters. Maybe a few but mainly we'll be watching this on DVD.

A toy getting broken sounds too similar to the second movie. I dislike the flying shopping cart with balloons tied to it. Its too conspicuous.

What's Ironic is it looks like Toy Story 5 will have similar ideas with the 50 malfunctioning Buzz Lightyears 2:31 What's also ironic is Lasseter felt that way given how he's a disgusting creep himself.

I think this version sounds like a mess. If nothing else: making Buzz defective is a bad idea. Toy Story 3 is definitely miles better than this.

Great video as always Bullets! I like this script but one of the biggest issues I have is that they send the main villain to Sid's house. Not only is it needlessly cruel and completely out of character for Woody and friends, to send a toy somewhere where he will be tortured (if that wasn't the case, why send him to Sid's house?) but it also ignores the ending of the first movie and implies Sid didn't learn his lesson and is still torturing toys.

This version has a lot of cool ideas, but I don't think it would've been good, some of these plot beats feel a bit contrived and oddly implemented
