Lindisfarne, off the Northumberland coast is part of the mainland twice a day when the North Sea ebbs and exposes the causeway road. Day-visitors pour across the road by car and by foot over the Pilgrim Way in their hundreds to experience the ancient Cradle of Christianity.
But when the tide rises again and the population drops to around 160 residents, it becomes a very different Holy Island.
I shot this video to give anyone interested a flavour of what it is like when the island becomes an island again.
