Charly Great rhythm guitar sound coming from you brother! Way cool song and I was 9 yrs old when this song came out. It's still a super cool song (lyrics!) And I love the sound of a well-played rhythm guitar!

This is a killer song, Charly. Do you recall what year it was recorded? Are there any other recordings of The Outsiders that haven't been released? I think I first heard this many years ago on a comp called, Fuzz, Flaykes, & Shakes Vol. 7. Thanks for the big beat sounds! Happy 60th anniversary Ed Sullivan Show Day!

This song was recorded in the fall of 1964 with the A-side The Outsider. There are only two recordings from The (N.Y.C.) Outsiders.@@hankhoffman8475

From the same label that gave the world "Juanita Banana" two years later, and distributed by Audio Fidelity, the pioneers of issuing the first stereo record in November 1957.

What they may have lacked in name originality (given there were two other bands known as the Outsiders), they made up for in pure first generation garage rock finesse. Soupy Sales did a world class cover of this track in 1966 as That Wasn't No Girl for Capitol.
