Just moved from Florida to North Arkansas and I’ve been loving it so far. Thank you for showing the beautiful scenery the state has to offer.

I was born and raised in southeast Arkansas so didn’t get to live in this beautiful area of Arkansas but traveled it many times as a kid on our way to and from Kansas City.

You made me homesick! I have driven that road many times. We are in Texas now but we used to live near where you drove by. Thanks for the video.

I was born and raised in mountain home till I was 13 but now I live in Little Rock which is really miserable and too much crime here. Thankfully I move to Heber springs in a couple months too a job I found. Love the ozarks!

During Christmas season of 1981, me, my 1st wife, and a friend took a drive, and ended up going up to Harrison AR from Conway AR, and I remember the area looked like what's on this video.

The upper Buffalo river area is one of the prettiest parts of the state. I’m hoping you turned south at Harrison to go down highway 7. Ponca, Jasper, Deer, and Mt. Judea areas are incredible 🏔

Oh look cows, do you get a tax break? Good grief. Those are working farms, they’re businesses. The cattle aren’t pets. Btw, Florida has a larger cattle industry than Arkansas, not that you would know anything about it.

Go through Monticello Indiana sometime there's a amusement park there called Indiana Beach I think you 2 would love it. I lived there in the 70s as a child and I have family from that area. It's a nice area to visit.

The high mixed population could be partly because there are tri racial isolate groups of mixed mostly white, but also black and sometimes Native American ancestry in certain isolated Appalachian and Ozark counties. They often have weird names like Mulungians, Red Bones etc. Some have Portuguese ancestry specifically too. They are descendants of people who fled the deep south as anti-miscegenation and other racist laws took hold, but thay are now gradually faiding out through assimilation into the broader community.

City life, rural life, Boonie life, all have their place, in each, there are depressing areas. For me, I need to see hills, mountains, fields, streams and rivers and wilderness with wildlife within a stones throw. And guaranteed not to put out someone’s window.
