The Trails: With over 50 miles of trails, the Palisades Interstate Park has something to offer for all levels of hikers and trail runners. Some of the must-see trails include the Long Path, the Shore Path as well as the connecting trails.
Hiking: The Palisades Interstate Park is a great place to go hiking. There are several trails that offer breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the surrounding area. The park also has numerous lookouts, so you can stop and take in the stunning views.
History: The Palisades Interstate Park is home to a historic fort from the Revolutionary War. You can take a guided tour of the fort to learn about the history of the area. Additionally, there are several other historic sites in the park, such as the Gilded Age ruins that we explore in Part 2.
