Being God fearing and regarding Him, putting Him above anyone and anything else would always remind us of His teachings, on how to properly rationalize as human beings that He made mirroring His image.. to balance what is right from wrong. As long as we repent and ask forgiveness for our sins.. surrender all of us to Him, and be faithful not just by hearing His words but by being obedient and executing the deeds to our fellowmen. He will not give us burdens and problems we can't handle, as long as we retain our undying faithfulness we can surpass all the hurdles in life.

Restricting the lesson to envy and wanton of possession creates a huge gap when you consider the fact that most wealthy people are not Christian's. So is that all Gods blessings? Isnt it the devil who offered the riches of the world to Jesus. If you read the multiple parables found with this one in matthew 24 the message is clearly not exclusively addressing money

Be good stewards of the mysteries of god. The talents or gold are knowledge 1)born again = resurrected , I am the resurrection John 11:25 2) baptism by fire is a baptism of suffering which every apostle went through.

I don’t understand. If the master represents God then why did the servant say that the master is harsh, harvest where he hasn’t sewn and gather where he has not seeded? I’ve always struggled with this parable because people always preach on money with this. But that convo contradicts the heart of God. Someone explain please

What I think is that if the servant thinks that way about the Master why didn't he act according to that perspective? But, apparently, this is not even true about the master, since the first two servants didn't say a word about his "misbehavior", and the Master didn't treat them in that manner as well. So, in the end, I think this represents people who think God is bad. If he is really bad and powerful, as they think he is, why don't they change the way they live, they treat what God gave them? Note how the servant puts every act he did under the "fear" umbrella. But this will be of no value on the judgment day!

A good message but when God increases ones level of stewardship it is not so they can then stop being faithful and start buying big houses, boats, etc. It's to have more to give for Kingdom purposes.

I don’t believe this passage is about giving to God the money he has blessed you with although it is sensible to use your money right. but rather the gifts in knowledge and wisdom that you have received from God that you should use to invite more people to God the way he has been given to you instead of keeping the truth to yourself like the guy with one silver.

With all do respect, Matt 25 is not about money or tithing.. It is about the spiritual gifts (or God-given “talents”) that God gives us to exhort others into knowing Christ. Jesus starts in verse 14 by comparing the parable to the Kingdom of God. Then he goes on to clearly say in verse 30 that the servant who did not use his gift was cast into hell. Do you think that Jesus was telling us that if we didn’t use our money correctly, we would be sent to hell? Definitely not. Either this man is misinterpreting scripture tremendously wrong or completely leading people astray by these false teachings of prosperity during our time on earth. Jeremiah 23:16, Matt 7:15

This parable is not about money, it’s about the gospel. Are you going to share it which is investing in it, or are you going to bury it, like the third servant, which means reject it. The third servant was afraid. Fear come from Satan. The third servant had no faith. Have faith and grow in Jesus. Only those with faith in Jesus will grow in Jesus, the third servant did not have Jesus in him so he could not grow as he was not saved.

Parable of the talents is deeper than money. Silver coins biblically represent people. Are you willing to invest time in people for them to come to the knowledge of the gospel that saves.
