A party selfie booth powered by Raspberry Pi4. The software in use is PiBooth this is a great application that has integrations available to have the booth directly upload to Amazon S3 buckets, Google Photos and others. It's very customizable.
I wrote a plugin for PiBooth to drive the Neopixel ring using the SPI bus of the raspberry. This means that there is no requirement for the software to run as root.
The rest of the setup I engineered myself.
The booth runs from two internal 20000mah USB power packs. One powers the Raspberry, screen and arcade buttons. The other powers the sign on top, the ring light and the neopixels. The neopixels are quite a drain on the battery.
The power pack powering the Pi etc will last at least 8 hours when on full time. The one powering the lights only about 4hrs. But without the neopixels on, you can about double that duration.
The printer is a Canon Selphy CP1300, not sure how many prints the battery will last for as there is no display for remaining battery power.

USB Y-Cable - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B... because the two batteries didn't provide me with enough USB power ports for the whole setup
I've used the booth for family events as well as at the Science Museum in London for the STEM skills fair.
