@realisticsimcockpit
@@ObjectifRacing salut !

They also prove what ive been saying! Brake pedals for sim racing should have some travel. Full control over every single spot and the ability to trsil brake is unlike any other. Real race car brakes are stiffer the faster the car is. The more g forces the car creates. They arent stiff just to be so. Its because the energy transferred is alot more then us sitting still in a seat not moving! We dont need f2 or f1 brakes. We need road car wnd or gt4 brakes tops. We should be able to long trail brake easoly not by pushing a super stiff pedal that barely moves and you gave to guess pressure which is way way harder to do then to judge pressure with travel. The senses in our body the travel helps us control it because it tells our mind ok i have this much room or that much instead of purely going by force and our readings jumpijg up 10% or 15% per movement. Ive always found medium/light brakes to work 10x better with control and trail braking. Its actually what changed my times for a full second. Not joking a full second faster on average in consistency. It was the biggest change ive ever made. Ill never go back to f1 style asetek style brakes again. Its horrible, it stiffens you up which in sim racing as the best teachers say staying relaxed works best. So yeah why not use something comfortable and very easy to control. You can get the same effect with simagic p1000 or p2000 pedals. Any and every combination you can think about. Stiff, light, travel no travel etc also give you that active feel with there haptics which are the best haptics in the game for pedals imo for the price. It gets withi. 10 to 15% of the simucube active pedals and when you consider pricing thats massively good.
