We aren’t currently recommending the Nanrobot D5+ due to an overwhelming number of owner reports that raise serious safety concerns about this scooter as well as very poor post-purchase support. See video description for a list of comparable scooters from reputable companies.

Thank you for the video! It finally convinced me to buy the D5+ 2.0 and it's definitely a beast 😅 I wouldn't even call it a scooter, more like an electric moped without the seat. Easily out-accelerates some economy sedans. Really appreciated the tip about the wiring near the front wheel. Added some plastic shielding to that right away, and can already see some marks on it. This video has saved me a potential repair 👍

The Zero 9 revrides.com/products/zero-9?sca_ref=3059.ElJ94uq1v1, is such a complete scooter and great for the price. I would think about how many hills you have on your commute and how fast you want to charge up them. The Zero 9 will do fine with it's 600 watt motor, similar to Emove Cruiser times. But that is a stark difference between 600 and 2000 watts of power on tap. Zero 9 is also way easier to pick up as it weighs so much less. You'll also have to do less tuning up and mods to make the Zero 9 work properly. In my eyes it comes down to power and doing some simple mods.

I have both zero 9 and a d5+ 2.0. Zero 9 runs really smoth like a Lexus car. But Zero 9 lack the power and speed. You might want to save up and get a zero 10x with same or faster speed of a d5+ and also you get a luxury of a Lexus car on scooter for 38+mph.

EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW. Felt a strong sense of responsibility to share this experience with Nanrobot. > Bought a D4+ and it broke within 2 weeks. Cheap quality and build > Sent my complaint to Nanrobot with video evidences, the whole back and forth with them took 1 entire month because of the time zone difference. They tried to push the blame on me asking me to tell them the truth about how abuse the scooter (I have photo evidences of my entire chat with Mr Edo Zen) > They offered to replace my D4+ with an upgraded D5+ and I was like, wow okay. I did not ask for that, just needed my D4+ to work. > D5+ came, broke within another week. I was almost killed > No replacement this time, Edo Zen ask me to tell him the truth. What the fuck? > I opened up the scooter and try to fix things myself. Wires are uninsulated, messy wiring. This just shows the horrible, terrifying chinese makers that do not care about their products. Mind you, about the hoverboard accidents that we had here. FINDINGS: > Nanrobot has a huge number of fake facebook accounts, fake youtube accounts, fake reddit accounts all over the electric scooter groups. Telling you all the good reviews > Edo Zen is a liar, he is the founder and CEO of Nanrobot. Not some PR manager > There are 7 other affiliated marketers from Nanrobot that has financially benefited from promoting Nanrobot. Knowing about their disgusting ethics, they tell you to buy their scooters. When a problem occurs, here is their reply: Oh, you bought it cheap, you know what you are getting yourself into. > Why did Electric Scooter guide say it is a hacker scooter? Do you pay $1000 over for an item and have to make it right yourself? > There are shockingly hundreds of other unsatisfied customers like myself, who are extremely pissed and angry about how we are being treated. > Why is Nanrobot so cheap despite the US-China tariffs? While all other companies are having a high retail price for electric scooters? Nanrobot are tax evaders. Ask Edo Zen, he will tell you.
