Cops really, really love the pops and bangs tune. Especially when they get behind you and you roll off the throttle just because don’t we all. Even better yet when you’re up at The Gap and the Tennessee county sheriff’s deputy who loves to sit about 2 miles up the run hears you go by with that. Great way to make your introductions with him. @WynterK value for the money. The performance is very similar, but the zx6r looks a lot better and is updated. A non abs zx6r starts at 11,400 and the 750 is 13,000. Reply to friend concerned about mail in flashed ECU''s. Agree with him best way to flash the bike is having it on a Dyno to make adjustments. So far no problems. If engine is running to rich or to lean you will definitely know it. -I've seen those videos so far I'm not having any problems I know of after ECU flash. ZX6R is getting the same gas mileage after flash. So it's not running to rich. Don't notice any problems with it running to lean either. Engine temperature is normal, idles good. Moore Mafia also reset the radiator fan to kick in at 195° instead of Kawasaki factory at 213/220°. I'm going to let it idle till temps pick up and listen to see if it does kick in at 195°. While zooming around like a maniac I can't hear fan. It was around 80° in Los Olivos yesterday. ZX6R didn't get past 200°. Fan kicked in at 185° close enough for me. 🏍

ECU flash will void the warranty for engine damage only. All other parts should still be covered. If the engine were to blow you could have the ECU flashed back to stock before bringing it to the dealer for warranty. Both of my bikes were flashed by Chris within a few hundred miles. No real risk of engine failure form an ECU flash from Chris or other reputable tuners. The engine will actually be "safer" with the tune because it corrects the engine limitations set by the factory. Better fueling, cooling, throttle response, and an overall better performing engine.

I even get Kawasaki to install my heated grips so there's absolutely no excuses if anything was to go wrong eg. wiring or anything. 3hrs labour+ $200 for heated grips on a 500 is what I am paying (I didn't get Oxford this around because of the big switch and other has buttons on the grip, plus salesmen had on their bikes, making it easy to see in reality. @@orionmobile6545 2WDW developed their own VS for the bikes they build for club level and Moto America racers, available directly from them. Originally Woolich hadn't fully developed the software to eliminate rev limiters for each of the gears on the '24 bikes until recently, so revs could be extended to higher (but still safe) revs in each gear and with the stacks, make use of power at those revs. The stacks are equal length (all short) so there's a bit of tradoff here and there down lower, but honestly very minimal numbers at minimal places, for a big boost up top.

Hey Chris, I just wanted to give some info the K&N high flow air filter filtration properties. I have tested a K&N on my ZX6R and the result was 5 ppm of Silicon. kzitem.infoU48koPOESrM?feature=share I'm not sure what the OEM filter is but it can't be much less than 5 ppm Silicon. K&N are active filters which means the layers of cotton fiber strands become active when placed in a running engine. This movement sweeps the air capturing particles that become part of the filtration media, and filtration actually increases overtime. When you have some time look up David Vizard who is the leading expert in K&N. K&N can't be tested in a static flow bench, they must be tested in a running application. Get an oil test with the OEM filter and your favorite high flow filter, or better yet, compare multiple air filter using Blackstone Oil analysis.

If you get an ECU flash on a ZX6R just ask for the Decel Fuel cut to be disabled. Get a high flow air filter, a slip-on exhaust and do not install block off plates. This will give some backfiring, pops, and bangs on decel. Not the same frequency or intensity as the Pops and Bangs which IMO is a good thing.

2WDW with all the fixings is turning out 128 hp and 75 ft-lb. That equates to a 14 pound lighter machine than stock @ 454 lb. That's 3.55 lb per HP max. vs. the ZX-6R being 3.42 lb per HP max. (assuming M4 drops 10 lb off the bike; they don't publish weight data on this). You say that makes the ZX better. Yes and no. When accelerating, what matters is "average" power-to-weight everywhere in the powerband before (and after) peak power. The amount of time the engine spends whooping on things that have no torque and worse gearing is what matters. Z900 makes peak HP from 9200 rpm all the way to 10800 with no loss, flat and wide. This means you can stay in near max power after each shift, and don't fall out of it.
