R.I.P Mick, your music will live forever. For anyone interested in the Pirates you should Purchase "The Pirates live in America" from Goofin Records. High octane R&R at its very very best, you would swear there were 2 guitarists on it. But that was Mick Green, never to be beaten in my book, he was pure class.

Mick Green-brilliant. Such a distinctive style copied by Townsend and Wilko and to a certain extent Hendrix!

Yeah way to go with The Pirates ... Two of best albums Mick did in the comeback with The Pirates in middle of 70:s... Out of theirs skulls and Skull wars... I think its very hard to find anything better of English r&r than this albums.. I never get tiered to listen on any of the tunes....Feels like being run over by a steamroller when listening through a good sound system 😁

So glad you found this video. It's my favorite Pirates song. This is how I remember them when seeing them in the early 80's. jh:)

Saw them in Dundee on that Scottish Tour mentioned in the intro. Mick Green - Legend. Him and Wilko Johnson - a bit special.

They were billed has the Pirates in 1977. Johnny Kidd had been dead more than ten years, but his band knew what the punks wanted when they performed at St Albans civic centre. And Mick certainly knew how to deliver.
