Emblematic of Prussia and the German Empire, the distictive Pickelhaube, or spiked helmet, is one of the more recognizable uniform elements in history. While strongly associated with Germany, its origins actually lie in helmets worn by successively the Persians, the Mongols, and the Russians, and while it is no longer used by Germany itself, it can still be seen in countries it influenced, mainly in South America.

The helmet I am wearing in the video is a replica I found on eBay. The feldrock tunic comes from thehistorybunker.co.uk.
Thanks to Elisa Mohr for help with the German translation at the beginning.
