Wish I'd watched this excellent video before today's hike across Fyfield Down (in beautiful April sunshine). Next time I'll know where to look ;-)

Glad you liked the video. It’s not easy to find at all. Took me a couple of attempts.

Thank you for the beautifully clear photos and written notes. I really enjoyed this, and made me think; I wonder how many other “polishing stones “ have been overlooked, buried or even broken up.

I think many, most of the stones in the area have been broken up for building materials. So i am sure there must have been plenty around. Thank you for watching :-)

Your video doesn't help me find the stone. A compass reference would be good, and a wider shot to help position the tree, What 3 Words....

You have a good point. That was three years ago and I know the trees have grown quite abit since then. It is so hard to find, just tried to find it in what three words but think I will go up there tomorrow morning and redo this video, so that it’s more up to date. Do you live close to the area?

Hi, I hope you get this. So I went up there yesterday and re did the video. Which will come out on Sunday. More up to date and better views of how to find the stone plus the what3words you ask for on the video. But they are statement.giggles.singing. Really hope that helps. Cara
