I love the almost niche nature of your videos, it fills a big gap on Roman KZitem content. And you taught me the old city came before the new city. Also, I would have to guess the story Cursor and Rullianus is probably mostly exaggerated like you said. It reminds me of a story of a son being order dead by (I believe) and emperor, where his father begs for him to be spared, only for the father to either be killed instead or killed as well. I can't quite remember.

Very very good! I’ve seen lots of content on the Samnite wars but none have covered the broader geopolitical landscape in Italy at the time. You covered so many tribes and cities that are normally left out by other historians when retelling of Rome’s Italian expansion. Campanians, Sidicini, Aurunci, Volscian,Palaeopolis, Napoli, Apulians, Lucanians and Vestini were some of the names you included. Now that’s when I do learn something. The maps are great too at showing their location to one another and this helps me understand the whole dynamic. You would think other KZitem creators would include these details but you stand alone my good man. Peace.

This was such a well made video, I really hope it gets more views. I was genuinely shocked to see that it only has 200~ right now, looking forward to the next part?

My Italian family came from molise, and presumed Samnite descended. But who knows really
