Quran is preserved just the way it was revealed because after it was revealed by Allaah to our beloved messenger Muhammed SAW (peace and salutations be upon him), through the angel Gabriel, it was memorized by the prophet SAW, recited by him to the companions (the men around him), memorized by the companions, who then recited it to their families and others in the community, who then memorized it. It was memorized word for word, including pronunciation and punctuation, before it was written down. To this day there are millions of people in the world who memorize the Quran. This is why if every last copy of the Quran was to be destroyed, it could be written again word for word, including pronunciation and punctuation, where each verse begins and ends, where each chapter begins and ends. And this is because Allaah guaranteed that this revelation will be preserved u til the end of the world, something He did not say about earlier revelations like the Torah and Bible. They were not destined to be preserved as they were because they were not destined to be the final revelations for all remaining time.

"word for word"? Repeating the same information over and over again doesn't make it true! What about Uthman destroying all the copies of the Quran that didn't match what _HE_ understood to be the right one? How can we be sure he (Uthman) was correct? Answer: we can't! No one can! What has been burned can not be retrieved! Including what may have been part of the actual original Quran! A SHAME, isn't it? Even if we completely forget about the "compilation of the Quran by Uthman", the fact of the matter is that nowadays, there are more than 26 different versions of the Quran in ARABIC! I'm not even talking about the hundreds of translations, which are always significantly different from the Arabic "original" text! You'll tell me: "No we don't! There is only ONE Quran! It's just a matter of understanding the difference between consonants and vowels in Arabic!" And you will point me to this link, for instance: www.quora.com/If-the-Quran-has-been-perfectly-preserved-in-Arabic-why-are-there-26-different-Arabic-Qurans The fact of the matter remains that, by changing the VOWELS alone, you get some very meaningful differences between each Quran... Which is the correct one? Hard to say isn't it?

@@SoldierOfAlIah "All reputable insititutes and academia says it’s preserved" That is NOT a valid argument! It's a "sophism", an argument that seems true but is really false and is used to deceive people! History showed us many examples where _ALL THE EXPERTS_ of the world agreed upon something that eventually happened to be completely wrong! But, if you know better than "KZitem and Google", surely, you won't have any issue to answer a couple of questions I have. 1) Tell me which "academic sources" would let me know exactly what was in all the Surahs that were removed/destroyed by Uthman? 2) Tell me exactly how can the Muslims trust Uthman over the actual Prophet of Islam to tell them what should or shouldn't be included in the Quran?

It won't stop there it will keep going like that master learned from that master... That master from that... Go on and on it reach to person who learn a companion of prophet... That companion directly learned /memorize from prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h himself.
