In the late '70s I was introduced to this amazing artist music on a 3-day camping trip to Big Bend National Park . I was captured by the lyrics and unique sound that seems to leave a message from the heart m. That 1st album "Late for the Sky", forever sold me on his music , not only to seek ALL his album but to attend his concerts through the years. May his music LIVE forever !

My favorite line is where the ads take aim and ley their claim to the heart and the soul of the spender and believe in whatever may lie in those things that money can buy though true love could have been a contender. Powerful

Jackson Browne became and bond for me and my father. We used to listen to his records and talk about everything under the sun, or just sing along to our favorite songs. I will always love these solo recordings. They feel so intimate.

I fell in love with Jackson Browne when I first heard Doctor in My Eye. Gee... I was just a boy. To date I have three vinyls of The Pretender. Only Jackson Browne can compliment his songs with his acoustic guitars. He is an incredibly incredible song writer. My brother Pete loved The Pertender and I miss him.
