No one praising this guy would 💯 not be if he was poaching the deer they were hunting and on their property. They act like he’s a hero because he’s hunting land he’s not supposed too. Also he’s talking about all these giant bucks and they were everywhere. It’s because it was PRIVATE LAND, where not many deer get killed and what does is very selective by the owners and who he wants to hunt it.

Roger Reaves - top 5 most prolific drug smuggler Barry Seal - pilot turned smuggler (American Made movie) Luis Chapparo - reporter embedded with cartels Ryan Montgomery - bad hacker turned ethical hacker The list goes on and on, but all had platforms to speak on their exploits. One doesn't have to agree with the person or subject to benefit from it...surrounding yourself only with ppl and subjects you agree with creates an echo chamber. We appreciate these stories for the entertainment value, lessons learned, insight into a mind, or however it suits. We watch/listen and gain something bc there's a ton of issues we face on the daily or in the future and an understanding of said issues is a first step to defeating them.

So much embellishment in these stories, they are entertaining, but not factual. 24 days in hunting? 110 lb pack going in? Very doubtful when this guy is 100 lbs soaking wet. This is folklore, watch taking these stories as fact. All the stories are based on fact, but too outlandish to be believable. Just my take, Charlie is chasing a book deal and the money that comes with it, these podcast just pulls everyone right in.

Google is free. You can see a good bit of his deer online. He was also in his 20s and 30s while he was doing this. He’s since had cancer so yea he’s going to lose weight. This isn’t folklore, just someone who was dedicated and ballsy enough to do it.
