I want to point out how much detail there is to Facilier's body language - you'd expect him to stand ramrod straight all the time like Jafar or Frollo and be cool and elegant, and Facilier does stand straight and tall when he's trying to charm someone. But when he's agitated he hunches more, stands legs apart and gestures wildly - his body language is someone who's not quite as refined as he wants you to believe.

For a Disney ending, this is pretty dark. The villain is well written too. He cornered someone while at the same time being cornered as well. Instead of the latter typically makes people to sympathize, the dark dealing that put him into his situation is out of free will. This is just my initial impression of this villain since this movie never got any popularity in my place for whatever reason. I’d honestly love to see more of this guy, after watching the movie recently i honestly feel that while he has a great presence and personality, that the movie kinda severely underutilizes him until the scenes leading up to his death, i Think he shows up for about a tenth of the movie’s runtime. So, to me at least, he’s great while he’s there and is interesting… He just doesn’t really do that much for a lot of the movie besides instigating the main problem and causing a few minor setbacks until he dies. Which doesn’t seem all that impressive to have on your resume as the main antagonist of a movie

I really wish he would’ve had more screen time, he was such a cool villain, heck they could’ve gave him his own movie that gives him more of a backstory and I’d watch it.

Coincidence, Keith David voice both Disney villains, King Andrias and Dr. Facilier who have a thing for battling amphibians and bugs. Plus, they both take direct orders from Dark force, such as The Core (Andrias) and The Friends on the other side (Facilier)

I love Facilier's expression when he explained the charm's power being useless to him. The exasperated sigh, his barely contained disappointment, him punctuating how it's not working with a "see!" expression. This man was charisma in a bag.

Doctor’s death is one of my favorite villain deaths, I also love how he’s more on edge then literally anyone else, all his new ideas and plans aren’t very well thought up, he thinks of them on the spot, by the end his “friend” know his act and aren’t taking it as an answer. Genius storytelling

If I had a quarter for every time Keith David played a villain serving a collective of higher power enemies in a disney media where the protagonists are mostly frogs, I’d have two quarters which isn’t a lot but its weird that it happened twice.
