Good interview. Nothing but respect for this guy. From a bedroom producer to massive gigs. Lived the dream and rocked the house.

"Baby's got a temper" still is a hammering awesome track and i think it is a great bridge between the "The Fat of the Land" period and the "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" period. When "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" came out it was massively inspiring knowing that it was basically done 90% in Propellerheads Reason which i was tinkering around with as well at the same time and was amazed at what he pulled off with it. Still to this day this album has a HUGE place in my heart. Back in 2004 /2005 when this album came out it really felt like a rebirth of The Prodigy music, going forward and not standing still but a progression that made sense for the band.

I wonder how much the "D'ya know what I mean?" he got from having Liam Gallagher as a brother-in-law for a while?. Can you imagine those two in a room together? D'YA KNOW WHAT i MEAN ARMAGEDDON!!

Their fourth album is one of their best for me because i like liam genius for making cinematographic song like Medusa path. I like when he tries something different. My favorite song of liam are Weather experience, Skylined, Oz, 13 kilos, Narayan, Climbatize, stand up...etc. He could make really great movie soundtrack

agree. I wish he'd come out with more of these type of songs as he ages. not a fan of the head banging metal stuff he's been churning out lately.

Liam's always expressed a bit of embarrassment about the baby's got a temper track, but like a lot of other people, it's among my favorites by them. Are there any unreleased tracks that came out in that lost era between 1998 and 2004?

Yes, there were a Lot...We Do What the fuck we want, Ride the Rhythm, No Souvenirs, Nuclear, Trigger(which was later came out as Shoot Down, but the first version with Maxim, and Keith vocals was way better in my opinion). He also made two tracks like Dust Yo'self (Many people called it Fill), and Little Goblin, but both tunes was really rubbish in my opinion. He also reworked one of Flint's song named Vacation. I'm very sad, that Liam did not believed in his talent on that time, as most of these records sounded more prodigy than the tracks on the finally AONO album. in 2002, After he decided to bin all those tracks, He also never released great tunes like Frequencies & Dead Ken Beats. After the AONO era, He also never released(or reworked) great tunes like Stab, Dogbite, Jetfighter, New Beats, Beat Drone, War, The Day...Those were better than most of tracks from The Day is my Enemy album.

I'm kind of sad about this band. I get the flaws in the album and why a lot of people find AONO strange. But honestly, I believe what he's saying in the video. Making something this different must be really freeing. It's my second favorite of their albums, right after TFOTL. It has a lot going for it. It's unique but also feels mature. Sadly, it seems like all the negative feedback made Liam stop being creative and true to himself. When they came out with IMD, it was obvious they were trying to appeal to a bigger audience. Every album since then has been a letdown. I wish we could see what it would be like if Liam could just do what he loves And then we lost Keith... Rest in peace, my man.

I love Liam but i think he's kinda lost the plot in this interview. Baby's Got temper is far from being a "cluttered track", it's better than anything on Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned and it's also better than a lot of whats on The Day Is My Enemy. Also, how is Always Outnumbered anything like his second album?.

Always Outnumbered was (and quite frankly might still is) ahead of it's time. It is such an underrated album in my opinion. Songs like Girls,Memphis Bells and Get Up Get Off are such bangers.
