Question... Adam if you ride with headphones, Surely you wouldn't be able to hear when it's clicking or if it's in free coaster mode. To me that would put me off buying it, would rather just have a casset or a free coaster to know what's going to happen when I land?

When say there is slack, do you mean before you pearl your cranks move before tension is in the chain, like some free coasters ?
@kirstywaters6854
9 жыл бұрын
All freecoasters have slack, it just depends what spacing is there as to how much. Slack is when you initially pedal and there is no immediate engagement transferred into movement. For some this can be very little, quarter of a crank or even a full crank.

illiterate thug not so much street except further back in the day. they also kinda got notorious for being very hit or miss in recent years though i also bought an old one the ss high flange hub and yeah its old as fuck and never been rebuilt, its the same design as the primo mix cassette hub but with a lighter hub shell and a slightly more hollowed out axle. now adays its mostly hype weight the loud engagement and being trendy. there are better hub designs now. their cranks also seemed to have dropped in quality someone gave me a decade old pair of profiles back in the mid 2000's and theyre still going strong however my buddy bought multiple sets of newer profile cranks starting in the mid 2000's and yeah they break, i broke a pair and i managed to get away with riding a god damn first generation macneil blazer fork for street for like 2-3 years.
