I highly recommend the book "the road to Mecca" by Mohammad Assad neé Loepold Vice; an Austrian Jew-turned-Muslim who talks about his experience in 1920s Arabia Of course, the book mainly focuses on his spiritual journey to Islam, but in between its folds is a deep commentary on a west that, at the time, was in the beginning of its collapse, & also commentary on the zionist ideology which, being a Jewish journalist in Jerusalem, he naturally got well-acquainted with. Mind you, the book mainly takes place in the 1920s, ie wayyyy before Ishrael was even a thing, so it's really insightful into how this so-called land without a people for a people without a land REALLY came about (spoiler: it had almost nothing to do with the Holocaust) I'm still reading the book but so far it's one of the the best books I ever read & unfortunately it has practically no notoriety these days. Mr Tadgh , if you read it, & like it, you can use your platform to tell people about it & I think that will change the perspective of soooo many people on the zionist problem Edit: sorry for misspelling your name

@@lunalingo4461 There are thousands of ethnic groups but only hundreds of countries. If your solution to ethnic persecution is to segregate ethnic groups by country, then which ethnic groups get countries? And what about individuals who are multi-ethnic - do you propose to cut each individual into pieces so each individual can split between the appropriate ethno-states? The motto of segregationists is "separate but equal" - but if people are truly seen as equal then there is no need to segregate them. Do all these segregated ethno-states get to have nuclear weapons, or are some ethnic groups "more equal" than others? There are certainly Palestinians currently who, as individuals, were expelled from Israel and who plausibly do have rights as individuals to return to Israel and to be free of of any discrimination. But I'm not seeing how having some ancestors who lived in the Middle East thousands of years ago confers some sort of right to live in the Middle East. Should we deny a Japanese person the "right" to live in Southern California, on the grounds that Japanese people didn't live in Southern California thousands of years ago. The question of Israel and Zionism is whether to maintain an artificial country where Jews and non-Jews do not have equal rights - where, instead, Jews are utterly dominant of non-Jews and where Jews engage in various forms of segregation, discrimination, bigotry, and persecution against non-Jews - e.g., Jewish (only) "right of return". Zionism is to Jewish people what white supremacy is to white people. If any group (Zionists, white supremacists, etc.) want a country where they can dominate other groups in order to be "safe" from the supposedly inferior other groups, then that country should be way out in the middle of nowhere, where very few people have ever lived or would ever want to live.
@lunalingo4461

@@WestleySherman You have just splattered out so many misconceptions and rather inaccurate statements amore. I never called for the segregation of the world's ethnic groups into different countries to prevent ethnic violence. Rather the opposite. You see I come from India. Arguably the most diverse country in the world, and have you seen how peacefully my country has existed especially my state Kerala has welcomed so many different peoples like the brahmins, st Thomas Christians, Muslims, Jews, Parsis etc. and we all exist peacefully next to each other. There could have been a state just like that in Israel but you have to remember it was the Arabs that rejected this demand as they wanted the whole of the state. Then it was proposed to split it twice, the two times the Arabs disagreed and opposed it. What does that say, is it still the Zionists that want to conquer and subjugate the Arabs, No. Rather it was the other way around. The state of Israel when it declared its independence was surrounded and attacked by all its neighbours for a war of extermination. In which Israel miraculously won the conflict. In which they did expel thousands of Arabs yes. But did you know, a lot of those Arabs were told to flee to make way for the incoming Arab armies by the Arab leaders, and that around half of those Arabs living in the mandate by 1948 weren't even born there. Take Yasser Arafat for example, he was born in Egypt and migrated to the mandate due to economic reasons, does that make him native to the land now. This is what the case was for thousands of 'Palestinians' as most of them were born in Egypt, or Jordan, or Syria etc. and migrated to the Mandate to help in the numerous architectural projects. Getting back to the Palestinians expelled. Yes that was a horrible act, I agree. But why are we not talking about the ~750k Jews that were expelled from Iraq, Persia, Yemen, Morocco etc when their leaders heard of the foundation of a rival Zionist state in Arab soil. These Jews fled to their brothers and sisters in Israel and Israel welcomed them with open hands. The Palestinians who got expelled, it's not like they got expelled to another Israel. They fled to neighbouring friendly ARAB countries like Jordan, Egypt or Syria. Which could have dealt with the new refugees by assimilating them just like Israel with the Mizrahis and Sephard. Instead they decided to arm them as terrorists to liberate their homeland and to suicide bomb Israeli civilians. And now you want these Arabs to return to Israel, what do you think they might have done if they were Israeli citizens. Israel wouldn't function as a state because of the hostile factions residing in the nation.
@lunalingo4461
3 ай бұрын
@@WestleySherman And brother, Zionism doesn't inherently call for the persecution of non-Jews. It simply is a nationalist idea that calls for the Jews to have a state of their own in Israel. And the Zionists never saw the Arabs as inferior, as they legally bought land off them and settled right next to them. It was the Arabs who called for the destruction of Jews from Israel and launched riots, pogroms, and persecutions against the incoming Jews. The Jews fed up with this decided to split up the territory twice to avoid violence but the Arabs refused and decided to exterminate the Jews. The Jews having won, quite reasonably saw the danger the Arabs posed to them, and that is the reason they occupy the lands, and it is not to persecute those people. Remember it was the Jews who wanted a two state plan all along and it was the Arab who refused it all along.

Alright bro this is just blatant anti-Semitism. I don't wanna be that kinda guy who goes around saying 'anti-zionism is anti-Semitism and yada yada' But you are clearly just stereotyping these people which is a form of discrimination man. 🥲

@@personalelorenzo6922 no good sir. Calling a whole people greedy just because they wanted to escape persecution and build a state of their own is just a bit too much isn't it?

I always thought the whole emotional attachment thing to Israel was a bit odd since didn’t the Jewish people leave there or were kicked out over 1000 years ago? Like y’all are not actually from there…. Understand the religious aspect, but claiming your from there when your DNA clearly says otherwise is a bit weird to me.
