I honestly think what I like most about Jon Bernthal's spin of Frank Castle is that he can play both sides of the persona that is "The Punisher". He is an unrelenting monster. He does not apologize for the shit he does and anyone that he puts in the ground deserves it. That said he is, at his very root, a good man. He embodies "The punisher". He hates what he is, he doesn't want to be this thing that he is but he knows that the only way to keep monsters in check is to be a monster yourself in his mind. Jon and Jane both embody the best parts of the character but in their own ways. Jon Bernthal portrays him as a 6 ft stack of muscle that ends people as violently as they live. Thomas Jane portrays the smarter side in his own way, both are scary motherfuckers. each in their own way.

No, absolutely not!" @Edit: So a lot of people pointed out that it was about mental capacity, not physical. I agree, but that still isn't a very logical response. The officer called him a hero. How does it prove that Frank couldn't do it? "Hero" is a very broad term. By taking out organized crime, he definitely saved a lot of people. Doesn't that make him a hero? Why wouldn't it? Because he killed, and that's illegal? This is all happening in a city where, very recently, Wilson Fisk was taken down by a vigilante, working outside of the law - and the city cheered for him. I imagine the definition of a hero, and of right and wrong would be even more blurred for soldiers who killed people in a foreign country halfway across the world because their government told them to.

He doesn’t give people a chance though. That’s the moral debate that happens in the show. People are bad, sure, but Daredevil believes that they can change, for better or worse, and the law lets them do that. He saw firsthand with Elektra that it’s possible. Frank on the other hand doesn’t care. He thinks any criminal is a criminal deserving of death. He shouldn’t be judge, jury, and executioner because he’s biased. He doesn’t believe that people can change. The majority of the people he kills are bad people. But some of them could contribute to society if they were given another chance and rehabilitated.

While I do not agree with police having punisher's logo on their cars I can understand why they would relate to such a character; he represents protecting those that the law is incapable of protecting and punishing those that the law is incapable of punishing, the punisher has never been a symbol of abuse of law for The Punisher never went after anybody just because he didn't like them or beat them up for any reason, He did the things he did because the people he dealt with were truly reprehensible and irredeemable so to relate police corruption to the character and make it seem like hes the reason why we have these issues in today's society and to use that as a justification to get rid of him in a story is just plain wrong and foolish, the character has been shown for years protecting innocences going out of his way to keep them safe risking his own life to defend them while using extreme methods against those that would harm them that has always been a staple of the character which made him an essential part of the Marvel family so to get rid of him just for politically correct reasons it's just idiotic and I will never forgive the individuals who are running marvel for going along with this, there was limitless potential for developing the character's growth with deeming the character, limitless possibilities to making the character more likable and relatible, to allow the woke agenda to destroy such a fascinating character is just unbelievably selfish! 💯🔥😉👍

He could not have committed those crimes because they were in fact not crimes. He could however have committed those necessary acts.

I never thought that the one to kill Frank would be the woke cult. R.I.P. to The Punisher.

Very interesting deviation from the original comic book that takes place in Vietnam; his entire company was killed and Castle was the only survivor, it's heavily implied that he made a desperate deal with the devil to defeat the enemy, who eventually returned to claim his family as the price.
